A heads up to all participants in this campaign: Starting in 24 hours (from the time of this post), posts made in the Off-topic, Politics & Society, Games and rounds and Investor-based games sections will NOT be counted towards a user's 50 posts per month. The rules in the main post of this thread will be updated shortly to reflect this change.

Why? These new restrictions people are putting in are silly and counterproductive. I can understand Games & Rounds but you're still targeting your audience with people in there but soon there'll be hardly any places to post in and it just forces users to make posts in sections where they normally wouldn't or make low quality contributions to threads just to hit their target. You should also wait till the end of the term to make changes.

I agree with you.
Bitcoin users are interesting in many different topics and read a lot content on this forum, so I don't see obvious reasons to limit our posting only in one part of the forum. Such request can lower quality of our posts, if we are pushed to post only in certain area.
I think that quality of posts are more important than forum section.

This campaign wants the majority of posts to be made in bitcoin-related boards. That rule has been in place since before I began managing this campaign. It's rare to see constructive and beneficial posts in the Off-topic, Games and rounds, and Investor-based games sections. It also appears that some users are using the Politics and Society section to bump their post counts, and the majority of their posts are made in P&S. This campaign would like the majority of their posts to be in a bitcoin related board, as mentioned before.

I suppose a fairer rule would be to limit the number of posts counted in Politics and Society per month, which is something I'll look at. So for now, the rules regarding Politics and Society are on hold, they will not be changed when the new rules come into effect.

Also, with hilariousandco's suggestion of waiting until the end of the term to make changes, it seems fair to give users some more time to re-read the rules. I think that an extra 3 days would be enough time for all campaign participants to re-read the rules, and gives them some time to change. Since user's campaigns end on all different days, I think that this method would be a fair and smooth way to implement these changes.

If I can suggest, can you allow at least 1/3 or 1/4 posts (of the total number of requested posts) in Politics and Society per month?
3 extra days will also help us to adapt to new rules, thanks for that.

As I've explained before I don't think people are using that forum to 'bump' up their post counts but people do seem to be engaging in constructive discussions there, but if there are people who are doing what you claim or making lower quality posts in there these restrictions will just push them onto other subs. Like I and others have mentioned before I think a better solution is to choose the participants of your campaign more carefully and kick anyone abusing it off rather than heavily restrict where people can post.

Thanks for your input. I'm still trying to think of the best solution for this situation. As I mentioned before, I was thinking of allotting a certain amount of posts per month to this section (10 to 20) but your suggestion seems to be a great idea as well, and remove members abusing the P&S section to increase their post count. I suspect that in a few days I'll have decided on a fair solution for everybody, and I'll keep users in this campaign updated on these rules as soon as I come to a final decision.

I just heard back from the Rollin.io admin and he doesn't want users of this campaign to join a different personal text or avatar campaign. I'll be updating the original post with these rules shortly.

No, you won't be paid for the posts you made after you applied for this campaign, you were never accepted for this campaign in the first place. I see no reason to accept you into this campaign, seeing as the majority of your posts are in the Games and Rounds section (which we don't count posts from) and many of your remaining posts are very short and don't seem to be very constructive.
