I have noticed the same thing however like the previous person has said, we will start to see more orphans as there is more people staking now which is why the difficulty also went up. I was sprouting once or every second day and now I only get a few sprouts each week, the price dropping helps people that wanted to get in now buy and sprout so that could be one reason why we are seeing the sprouting difficulty rise and maybe people who are sprouting added more beans to their weight while the price dropped.

I concur. Where there was once 2-3 people competing for a block now there are 5-10. More orphans result. I was averaging about 10 sprouts a day, now? not so much. |

Bean Cash network is growing. More BEANs are being SPROUTed. The network is getting stronger. This is the reason for the rise in difficulty. More BEANs will be required to maintain the same level of SPROUTing as difficulty continues to increase. The positive side to this all, is that the price is dropping, so it is easier for more people to purchase more BEANs to SPROUT. BeanCash is sprouting like a beast for me at the moment, not sure why as the network difficulty still remains the same. I think it was my time to sprout as I went 5 days with no sprouts at all so my point is that just being patient and wait that people will eventually sprout and may even get several sprouts a day.

The Beans sprout very good in my wallet. I have never seen any orphan this month. The last time I saw orphans in my wallet was last May 14, 2018. But since then, I never had orphans. My wallet is gently and lovely sprouting now. That's what I like with my Beans. I just hope, I'm positive, that the market prices will recover soon. More sprouts for our Beans guys!  |

Made a mistake to regroup coins for staking and knocked myself out with it  . So just forget about any optimization for staking, leave the wallet alone. And it will do its thing. Started to get stakes again after 2 weeks or so, still stabilizing. Never touch a running system! |

Started to get stakes again after 2 weeks or so, still stabilizing. Never touch a running system! Did you reblock ALL of your blocks? I only do a few at a time for exactly that reason. |

Yeah, I did, was a mistake, nothing to gain from it. Total of ~ 500k BITB. It just means you don't get stakes for 2 weeks or so. So don't do it! |

Well i split up 500k into 5 - 100k blocks
1 Staked in 2 days
other follow slowly... some of the split blocks staked again before the other 100k staked..
I think maybe luck has some to do with it...
I thought the chain was getting more secure... but the orphans are killing me...
I hope the upgrade fixes this... diff maybe move up to fast...
anyone else having orphans..

Yeah I'm seeing a big change when it comes to sprouting beans now, before 10k blocks were sprouting every second day for me but now they are taking a lot longer so like you I have made my blocks at 50k to see how they go at sprouting and I made a couple at 100k. It will be interesting to see which ones sprout first however I also believe that it mostly comes down to luck with sprouting beans and for any PoS coin for that matter. |

I think most bean sprouts come in with luck. Why? It's because I've seen smaller blocks sprouting first than bigger blocks. But that's now always the case. What I'm saying is that, it happens. But I still believe if you split or regroup your blocks to the range of 50k to 100k per block, it would sprout earlier. Overall, I love how my Beans sprout in my wallet. |

It's back to normal now, I get 1 sprout every day plus minus. Same as before. So reshuffling blocks does not do anything. Don't do it.
