Very important match to both team who will win this game they will safe in play off. Very less experienced players in SL, cant depend on them. |

Nope Today Sri Lanka bowlers did very good job now England is in very big trouble the first day score is 171 runs and 5 wickets down. Thing is day end with Rain till tea break they played but now Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales are playing well both completed there half century. Tomorrow first session Sri lanka picks these two wickets means this match will be pretty interesting. Will see tomo rain will allow them to play or not. |

SL done an excellent job to restrict England for just 171 runs and took 5 main wickets already. The 5 wickets lost just for 83 runs but the 6th wicket partnership is quite good and they have put up about 90 runs in 6th wicket. If England can add another 150+ runs then match will good quite interesting. Now SL need to pick up rest of the wickets soon to control this match. |

English team get recovered after quick disaster on 5 wickets down for 83 runs and this 6th wicket progressive partnership of 88 runs doing excellent job for it, Sri Lanka was superb with quality bowling attack but got relaxed after picking some early wickets.

Sri Lanka is in strong position at this stage so that if it get succeed to take breakthrough into early session than it can restrict England around 25o runs into first inning, i think this would be wonderful achievement for Sri Lanka with good bowling performance and it can make this match decisive.

Ya this game is mostly going to draw as their is danger of Rain for more days, and if england play some more cricket in first innigs and score above 250+ then Sri lanka will have to make some good score . I think this match will go towards England or draw , because srilanka batting is no that much good. |

I also think 250+ would be nice target for first inning because as time will pass this pitch will get more harder and England can make comeback to this test match, i think Sri Lanka lost the golden chance to win this match when it got succeed to pick 5 wickets for 83 runs there but now draw has more possibility.

I think rain will be the winner of this first test match and very hard to make it decisive match because rain can make stop this game any time there, after today i will place my bet on draw result even it will get reduce odds but it will decide the future of this match.

Partnership of 6th wicket doing very important job for England and they are trying to get more safer position there, as like Hales and Bairstow playing than we can keep hope for 300+ runs will be scored there because both batsmen are well settled and this is good sign for England.

Wonderful comeback by English team Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales slowly building their innings and getting it into more strong position, i think that is worry sign for Sri Lanka yesterday it was looking very confident after picked 5 quick wickets there but now it is into trouble there to take some advantage there.

Sri Lanka has unlimited bad period which is not finishing.England didn't set up good total on the score board and I was expecting that Sri Lanka will reach somewhat near at least.But all out at 92 runs is one of the worst performances made by Sri Lankan team ever.
