Afghanistan had a very good season so that they will play with more confidence into this 1st ODI, lately they played very impressive against Scotland, on other side Ireland still facing some problem with their batting order so that I think Afghanistan can win this match.
Match abandoned without a ball bowled today, The rain not allowed them to do Toss also. SO the match was cancelled and finally, Afganistan won the series by 1 - 0. The first match also cancelled dude to rain and second match Afganistan won the game. So bad luck to Scotland. Not bad luck to Scotland. Because if match players means Afganistan had lot of chance to win this match. They are strong to compare Scotland. I thought we could enjoy this game today. But unfortunately Rain stopped the full game. So finally Afganistan won the series by 1-0. Congratulation Afghan. |

Yup, I am waiting for this series to start. Both teams are well matured and super teams. But as for now, West Indies team is Fav in this series Because they played superbly in their last trip Nation series against SA and AUS. But they failed to lift the Cup in the final match. But Indian team also good, Now all senior players have joined the team. So will hope this series has become interesting. |

Both practice matches India and Pakistan ended drawn, so we can expect for entertaining series will be India will face West Indies on their home ground while Pakistan is visiting England, India will play with full strength into this series but West Indies is looking strong on home ground.

I have some doubts about Afghanistan to be able to easily win against Ireland.Tomorrow is not far to see them in live action.

I think Ireland has edge over the Asian teams in 50 overs format of cricket, on other side Afghanistan looking more stronger team on paper for their recent performance, both teams will try to get winning start into this 5 match series, just waiting when toss will be happen and than place bet there.

I don't put both teams in same category, the reason is clear Afghanistan has no experience on fast pitches in One day international format. republic of Ireland here is in good position. Afghanistan is equal in quick format of T-20 but when comes to talk about others totally different way and approach needs. I also expect an interesting match is going to be between those.

Ireland won the toss and elected to Bowl first. Now Afghanistan 162 runs 34 overs completed and 4 wickets down. So as for now Afghan is playing the safe game . Still 15 overs left and 6 wickets in hand, I think they will give 280+ runs target to Ireland. If Ireland restrict them within 250 runs means they have a chance to win this match.
