None of the teams can take Afghanistan lightly. If the luck is also on their side, they are capable of defeating any of the other 9 teams in England.

They have one of the best bowlers in the world in Rashid Khan and he is a true marvel and they can defeat any team on any given day.
Really disappointed with the way India is playing today, really thought of watching the match live but when i saw them lost 4 wickets for 39 runs i changed my decision and went to sleep rather than spending my time . Looks like i should change my prediction by the way they performed today, they cannot built partnerships and all out for 179 runs  .

If Pakistan had their previous glory of the bowling attach then I would say they would easily win this match defending 262 runs but looking at this inexperience bowling attack I am worried if they will be able to defend it.

I will hate to see them losing because in that case I will lose 15mBTC. Let's hope the best for them. Come on Pakistan :-P

Pakistan always had a great bowling attack in the past but that cannot be said about them now, they still have great bowler who performed in the past but they are just mere images of their prime form, i remember how lethal Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Junaid Khan used to be in their prime long time ago and Pakistan is the worst team to bet as they are the most unpredictable team in this world cup, one day they will surprise everyone and the next day the same old story as they will play as a sub par team.

If I can remember properly, I never have seen Wahab Riaz to bowl extra ordinary. He was maximum a good level bowler at the beginning of his career. Amir was great. Junaid Khan was also good one.
I don't know how their bowling become such useless. They used to depend on their bowling much.

Well, Pakistan team has not much options to choose from. A lot of is expected from Muhammad Amir and he is the main strike bowler and wahab has to equally support him to keep the runs restricted in the early overs of the matches.

It was terrifying to watch, yesterday Pakistan defeated by Afghanistan, here world's best batting line up 179/10 all out though playing with full batting strength. Don't underestimate any opponent, anyone can beat any team. A challenge to all teams, if this fantastic performance continues, we may see many surprises in this world cup.

The only batsman who is not going to get affected is Virat Kohli. But as we have seen in the past, Kohli will be helpless if the other players don't offer him any support in building the innings.

I see no one talking about Steve Smith's performance. He is back in fine form just at the right time, like I have been saying Smith plays well on English pitches and with the form he is in only increases Australia's chances at going back to back even more a reality. The top order for Australia batted well with Smith being the stand out making a century, I also thought Warner batted well and all the others getting starts but not going on with it. The Australian bowlers also played well considering that Strac and Cummins didn't play. Australia would have to be second favourite to win as they have been the best in form team for the past few months.

I agree. I honestly could not believe my eyes when I observed the entire Indian team collapse like a bunch of dominoes.

Jadeja was the only saving grace for the team while Pandya played a decent cameo. This clearly proves how different the T20 and ODI formats truly are.

However, it is unwise to judge the performance of a team just because of a single match(Specifically a warm up match). India lifted the World Cup twice when they lost their first warm up matches before.

It will be foolish. It's a warm up match and this is the forst match here for this series after long time. Addition, Boult was bowling pretty awesome.
However, vs Bangladesh, they need to comeback, otherwise their journey will a bit salty. But, I solely want Bangladesh win the match.

I was expecting India to put in a decent performance but never expected them to play this bad, maybe it’s due to the fact that they’re playing one day match after a long break. The total posted by India was very low, and when you look at their batting lineup you do expect them to score higher than this. New Zealand produced their best performance against India, and if they continue like this they can easily make it to the semis of the World Cup.

I would not consider both Pakistan or Bangladesh as teams capable of winning this world cup. Bangladesh never performed well enough to get to the top 4 list, while Pakistan has slipped down during the past decade or so. Adding to the form related issues, PCB is also facing a shortage of funds, and this can affect the team bonding as well.

I am fully agreed to you with this point. obviously you are right and No good player can win a world cup alone. All player need to perform their best to win a series or a world cup.
