If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.

Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

It seems to me that Ethereum will never be able to catch up with bitcoin. They will always exist in parallel worlds. The system will be balanced. when will drop the price of bitcoin will rise the price of Ethereum and Vice versa. This will create stability. Bitcoin is like the sun in the solar system. The planet is altcoins. While they are all together the system is balanced.

I can not wait to see what will happen when Tezos will step into the market in late 2017. I think it could be hard for ETH, because Tezos has a similar business model. They also hold a high amount of ETH which they collected during the ICO. The amount is enough to crash ETH price down, when they cash out into fiat imho.

Both are considered the future of cryptocurrencies due to the endless possibilities and potentials of their price increasing in the future, but bitcoin will reign over the years due to its exposure and reputation around the world. We need to consider first the factors on why bitcoin became famous especially the number of investors who already are rich due to bitcoin. Maybe YES, Maybe NO ! Because the future of every altcoins as cryptocurrencies are based on their users. The price of coins rises also based on the users. As long as there are lot of users, the price rises.

Ethereum is really developing this year and from the $ 20 price is now $ 350. I think ethereum has been greatly improved in terms of technology especially for smart contracts in ICO projects.
