Thanks to Max,Oliver, and Joel for keeping the community updated and working hard. I know there might be a little disappointment from fellow users that the main-net isn't launching on time as previously planned but we are eagerly awaiting. I hope you can test out the main-net and hopefully sometime in the future, it will be available for regular Liskers to use. I have been waiting since the start of the ICO for the release. I can wait a few more weeks for you to work out the kinks and to make sure everything is running smoothly.  Smiley

I do not think it necessary to delay the launch of which I do not see any fault on the part of developing Lisk, this delay is the fault of some of the holders of the ICO, as long as it was good but the delay is not the right path in my opinion, I think everyone wants to hold Lisk, so just wait for this go to the site immediately trade, all went to validate them gradually ICO Lisk

Note: I appreciate the decision to delay the launch, delaying delegates and focus on launching soon appreciate them also for holders of ICO

A delay is better than months or years of people screaming blue murder coz their stake was flushed. Common sense says delay is good

If there was an ulterior motive for the delay, I'd guess it's Waze.

If Lisk can be officially bought and sold on April 11, I've heard a lot of people express that they want to dump some Lisk for Waze since the first day of that ICO is April 12, and you get a 20% bonus on that day only.

If you support Lisk, this is probably a good thing.  ICO investors might be less likely to dump their Lisk if they don't have a good reason for the funds.

NOTE: Yes, I have a Waze signature.  I support both projects which is exactly why I've been seeing people talk about both projects. I  follow both communities.

So what if i want to do that? It´s my fucking money, they don´t have the right to play with MY MONEY.

THE REAL REASON OF DELAY IS LISK TEAM WANT TO USE ICO MONEY TO INVEST IN WAVE AND DON´T WANT US TO REDUCE HIS STACK SELLING LISK ON APRIL 11 AND BUYING WAVES ON 12.

Whoa whoa calm down. How much BTC did u invest into Lisk, maybe I can escrow buy your stack and email address so you can invest in Waves. I've previously invested in something very similar to waves called Swarm and the market for it was poor despite the team's capabilities, so I'm only happy to buy your Lisk stack and not invest in waves on your behalf. Happy to buy your whole stack though

Question. I have my passphrases downloaded and stored on a usb drive. MUST I "validate passphrase"? I don't want to share my private key... the whole point of a public and private key is never to share your private key....

You must validate your keys, as I know it is mandatory and that is why we have delay because a lot of people didn't validate their keys Sad

I really don't want to. My keys have been accepted, I have stored them offline. I don't see the reason to validate the keys. It doesn't feel right to me...

I suggest asking this in the lisk forum, although I believe the validation process is happening purely on client side and the only information travelling to server side is a flag confirming the succesfull validation.

How can you know your keys accepted if you didn't validated them?

Once you completed the exchange a window popped with the address and passphrase. It gives you the option to download the credentials to a text file and afterwards you close the dialog box by "accepting" or  basically saying that you've recorded the pass phrase.
