I personally do not only see the negative aspects from the YoBit "Pre-ICO-trading".
It very interesting to see what traders are willing to pay currently. And 0.00189 BTC is not too bad, right? That's 0.8 USD. So it can be seen as an indication for the official ICO. And I think buying momentum after the ICO will not be affected much by this.
Another topic on verifying the ICO generated passphrases.
Is is correct that only one of the generated passphrases (of the three key lines) gets validated .. or should all of the generated lines receive validation?

I would have thought Lisk to launch on Polo. Slick move by Yobit. At least now one can get a feeling of the value of Lisk.
But then again, most alts start at Yobit.

Do you happen to have any background info on Yobit? Who's running the place? edit: here's Yobit's ANN: https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=914975.0edit2:

This is an interesting development. Much depend on how much LISKIOU will gets sold until launch, at what avarage price. And we will never know of course, because there is no way Yobit don't inflate the volume.
But let's not get crazy, this is not unprecedented, it happend to other coins in some form. As it happens Crypti was also traded before launch, at bter. They assisted with the ICO, and allowed trading the ICO tokens before switching to the real think after launch.
Similar things can and did also happen on the NXT asset exchange before. I could create an asset right now, say Lisktoken, and presto people can buy lisk from me (and after that trade normally from there). The only thing I had to do for it to be workable is a garantee that I'll make good on my IOU. So let's say I create the asset with 1 000 000 tokens, thats 1 million Lisk. If I put 1 million lisk worth of bitcoin (with some safety markings, lets say 10 times ICO price) into escrow with the promise that I'll exchange the tokens for real Lisk withing a week after launch.

I'm just not convinced they have right to do such thing.. But this is great thing for Yobit, they will finally get their volume they deserve, and they will join Bittrex and Poloniex on the top , all thanks can go to LISK..

That is really strange to see Lisk is trading on yobit, what is going there and this is really panic for investors who are still waiting to get their one till mainnet will be launched, https://yobit.net/en/trade/LISK/BTC

Official Statement on YoBit LISK “IOU Token” TradingWe have released an official statement on our blog regarding the YoBit "IOU Tokens" early trading. In summary, we are not endorsing the trade of non-existing LISK. It is advised to wait until the official launch is ready to begin trading LISK. Once it's launched, Lisk will surely be added to reputable exchanged where the risk of theft and fraud is lower.

It's been a while, but didn't XCR do more or less the same thing back during the Bter days? There was a delay between ICO ending and actual release of coin, so Bter allowed trading of 'tokens' before the actual release. I don't see that much difference between what happened back then and what Yobit is doing (so no reason for anyone to complain).
End result was a higher price for XCR, if I recall correctly. Other ICOs have done the same, typically with asset trading (nxt exchange, etc) before their real release.
