We dont--or at least, I dont--know anything about the team's marketing skills. If I were to judge based on the current logo, it wouldn't be good.
Hopefully they're smart enough to hire a good marketing team, which is probable.

yes it is really silly thank god for lisk chat, just ridicilous what people say and the reactions afterwards. this thread makes lisk worth $1 then why are you here checking on the thread? Apparently over 1000% isn't good enough hype for him  ...people come back here because they want to discuss Lisk, not see retarded memes about vitalik and people being assholes to anyone who doesn't think 10,000% profit is guranteed (or even deserving). This is crypto, lisk could be wildly successful or completely fail. It'd be nice to have that understood so we can get to more productive topics I didn't tell him to disappear, just to go to a medium that he might feel is more suited for his "intelligence" level. Open discussion is the way to go. I am looking forward to seeing the how high the October 2016 price of LISK will be. |

But, of course, to each his own.
Logo This has already been addressed multiple times in this thread. Mass Adoption Sure, every project claims it's hitting mass adoption. Ask Bitcoin and Ethereum how easy that is. I agree with you on the mass adoptiom challenge, I think it's more than a poorly designed logo. Lisk can do great without hitting any type of significant real world adoption. If it does, even better. |

How does Lisk plan to address the DPoS issue with exchanges that Bitshares is facing?
1. Exchange has a majority of Lisk
2. Exchange uses that voting power to stop voting yes on spending proposals?

A quick update regarding your attempts on logos. Right now we don't have access to the ICO money. Legally (escrow terms) we can get access to it after the first Lisk block was forged. Due to tax reasons however, we will only have access to it once we registered the Lisk entity as a non-profit organisation. This is a process which still takes several weeks. Once we have access to the money we will hire a reputable and excellent design agency to do a complete rebranding (logo, website, client, mobile client, media kit, design guidelines) with an even better UX than now. So this is being taken care of! We will come up with a new logo and design. Thank you for your concerns! Feel free to create a thread on our forum and do brainstorming there. So that the design agency can go there later and maybe get a few ideas. Thanks! |
