Changing the Lisk Terminology. Renaming dapps to blockchain apps.Lisk is all about the blockchain and all about applications. Until today, we agreed and followed commonly used blockchain terms. However, we believe Lisk does not adhere to current industry terms, thus we are creating our own terms. The Lisk main network launch is in close proximity and it’s important to do the changes before it, afterwards it will be much more complicated. Please take your time and read all our name changes in our blog post! very genius! this should separating a real thing from vaporware. |

Who is going to create The DAO for LISK?
The DAO could also be a delegate, redistributing LISK it earns to DAO token holders or use it to fund DAO proposals.
DAO is for vaporware etherniem.  |

I have watched this board and have seen the crazy high projections that many have put forth but I have always thought that Lisk should be valued somewhere between 10-30% of ETH. Last week that meant around 60 cents to $1.80 per lisk, but this week it is double that. I guess we will all soon see.
It took ETH 8 months. Its 1st wave took it to a 90M cap. why do you expect that Lisk will NOT take time. Dreaming of a 300M-500M cap in week one is an illusion. Lisk is a whole new animal. Lisk's innovative design (JavaScript, SideChains...) will go mainstream much faster than Ethereum Solidity, Serpent, SmartContracts that are still useless BTW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_90Y8mw_HVYIt's like Apple personal computer Vs. IBM's giant computer  Yeah and also the Lisk platform has been in constant development for over 2 years. |

yes but not today. No highly reputable exchange as announced their addition of Lisk. We are waiting for them to make the announcement probably after the launch. Take a look a http://poloniex.comsignup there and use them once they add Lisk. poloniex is highly trusted right now in the crypto world. |

I disagree that Lisk will need to take time to rise. ETH did most of the work for us by creating a viable bitcoin replacement. I think it is pretty clear Eth will surpass BTC this year.
Not saying Lisk will peak out of the gate but its gonna move fast.

Well, I took my own advice (I might have deleted it), signed up with Bloombit & bought 501 of their IOU-Lisk in the hopes that the post-launch price will be at Yobit's price or close to. I know it's a risk, including the counterparty risk, but I had to try. Fingers crossed... Wow nice move. Hope it goes through well. Launch is going to be chaos lol. Bears vs Bulls showdown of EPIC PROPORTIONS!  Oh hell, yeah! Add to that the folks who invested in the ICO who'll be scrambling to deposit their Lisk to meet the frenzy, and we'll have one heckuva show! |

Someone should enlighten me, what launch are we talking about here? And everybody is talking about the price of lisk aftrr launch?
I thought lisk is on the market now? I checked on yobit and lisk is listed there, with a price now with 0.005 btc if i remember.
Lisk mainnet launches on May 24th. The Yobit Lisks, as well as Lisks on other exchanges, are IOUs that will be redeemed once real Lisk is distributed with the launch of the mainnet. I see. Thank you very much! Sounds like good to me. Would you recommend to buy this lisk on the exchange sites like yobit? or just wait for the launch date on May 24th? . Feel so sad that i missed to join in the ICO. I sympathize; I saw the Ethereum ICO & didn't send in a satoshi. In retrospect, my reason was laughable: it got some much BTC, I thought it would tank like Ripple.  As for buying some now, it depends upon how much risk you want to shoulder. If you're cautious, best to wait until it launches & wait for the new-listing chaos to die down. But of course, the risk is that you'll pay a significantly higher price than today's. Yobit's the bigger market, and has the higher price, but the vibe 'round here is that they'll likely redeem their ICOs with real Lisk. Bloombit's repute is iffier, which is why its ICO-Lisk is selling for much lower. Also, the Bloombit folks bought a lot more Lisk than the Yobit folks, so the supply of Bloombit IOU-LIsk is larger than Yobit's. You could try asking if any Lisker here will sell some OTC at a better price than Bloombit's market, but of course that carries a counterparty risk too. But if you can shoulder that risk, an OTC buy would be your best bet. |
