Untapped Financial Energy: ILP - XRP - Codius

Blog URL:  https://xrpcommunity.blog/untapped-financial-energy-ilp-codius-xrp/

The economy has vast unused potential waiting to be unlocked.  In today's blog, I describe how the XRP ecosystem of innovations stands ready to help.

This edition also covers AMA sessions by Ripple, a new Ripple banking customer, and two interviews that you'll want to know about.

Lastly, I'll tell you about an ongoing effort by an XRP Community member to have Binance list XRP as a base currency, as well as some outstanding XRP ecosystem graphics by two different members of the community.

I hope you enjoy the read!

Thanks & Sincerely,
-Hodor

wow nice find! Thank you for sharing.
Since I'm personally putting my mining gains into XRP, I was always interested in an XRP-based exchange. Right now I have to go ShitcoinX>BTC>XRP or in some cases when the most profitable coin to mine is not supported by an exchange which trades XRP, I have to do ShitcoinX>BTC>LTC send LTC to another exchange and LTC>BTC>XRP.
I'm also saving up on ARK and XDNA so in most cases I don't have to go with scenario 2, I just save up on whichever of the 3 coins I want is available to the exchange with the priority of XRP-ARK-XDNA.

There will always be people with conflicting interests though, people who hate on anything that is not Bitcoin, people who hate anything that is not advertised as "decentralized" (but they don't know what it means to be decentralized); and lastly another group of uninformed people who follow blindly on what the first group of people is intentionally or unintentionally says about XRP.
If those kind of people weren't a thing, then we'd be at 5$ already.

All XRP news are concentrated in this article: Ripple CEO on xRapid Launch, Institution Solutions, Bakkt being a Big Deal & XRP is not a Security

Starting with the institutional money, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse shared the industry has underperformed in terms of institutional interest and for good reasons i.e. lack of regulatory clarity. But the coming years will see aggressive participation as the railroads are already laid down.

Though he expected more, he mentioned the new exchange championed by ICE, Bakkt which according to him, is a big deal and indicative of a maturing crypto industry.

This means that in the year 2023, the Ripple price is forecasted to stand at $4.524

Let's in the first place start with next week forecast with such accuracity.

And only if you are correct then go on to 5 years forecast.
Or gfys if not.

Brad Garlinghouse Is Right: It's About the Use Case

XRP Community Blog:  https://xrpcommunity.blog/brad-garlinghouse-was-right-its-always-been-about-the-use-case/

The use case for XRP rests on a large business use case that provides value for all stakeholders concerned: the businesses that implement it will save 50-70% on their current ForEx channels, and customers will reap the rewards with real-time money transfers that settle in seconds instead of days.

In this latest blog post, I also cover some of the latest news, including Brad Garlinghouse's AMA, and David Schwartz's dramatic statements about Bitcoin and Ethereum's increasing levels of centralization.

Also, there's a Coil meetup, and the XRP Tip Bot just received one of two amazing upgrades.

I hope you enjoy the read!

Thanks & Sincerely,
-Hodor

I think Ripple has potential. I've been following the news and live values at https://www.coinreview.com/ripple/ and been feeling optimistic reading reviews and following up. The development of the payment system and the digital asset XRP is mostly finished. But it is continuing to extend their relationships to banks and financial institutions wants to further the adoption of their payment solution. Also, more validator nodes are being installed.

Where are all the XRP haters hiding nowadays? I haven't heard of them lately? Come on, won't you write how XRP is centralised and other nonsense like that? I have a few nice articles to share and I've been waiting to see a post of hate you know....

Like how Bitmain, which centralises the BTC's hashrate, is working behind the scene (a nice read here, the most interesting part is after the crystal tower image: https://medium.com/@salva.enkidu_89587/how-bitmain-indeed-mines-coins-in-secret-2ea179e7ab75)
Or why XRP is more decentralised than other coins: https://ripple.com/insights/the-inherently-decentralized-nature-of-xrp-ledger

Like I've said again, it's one thing for a company to control a big amount of a coin (like Ripple) and another thing for a company to control the network's hashrate (like Bitmain).
If you control a big amount of your own coin, then you'd do anything in your power to see it's price increase, both the company's and the investors' interest align.
But if you control the hashrate, then things are more complicated and unpredictable, which I don't like.

Web Monetization Has Begun

Blog Location:  https://xrpcommunity.blog/web-monetization-has-begun/

The advertising model of web monetization has been around since the birth of the Internet, and has resulted in a sustained attack on privacy for those of us that use any form of technology.

Web Monetization promises to change all that, as it gives content creators and application developers a different option: an automatic, seamless, pay-through-browsing option.

Even though it sounds crazy, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟!

In addition, I cover all the major crypto news and developments related to XRP, including some high-profile upcoming conferences, exchange news, and updates to the XRP Tip Bot.

I hope you enjoy this latest blog!

Thanks & Sincerely,
-Hodor

New interesting video from Ripple team - Demo: Small and Medium Enterprise Payments Using RippleNet (2018)

I can't watch it from the office's PC! Please give me a short description of what is this? Right now I'm holding 50% of my XRP on Revolut card so that I may use them for payments when XRP goes over 10$, do Ripple Labs intend to create an official payment method for consumers?
