Kudos to Villa especially for holding the city down until last 20 minutes of the game.

I predicted that Man City won't have an easy job against Villa and I was right, but they somehow managed to win ten minutes before match end and win title.
I had no skin in this game but it was fantastic bet for someone who played Villa to win first half and City to win the match.

We weren't going to have this kind of a problem if the World Cup was organized in a different country instead of Qatar and in its normal time too. Fifa caused a big space in the football calendar just to make more money.

Imagine playing football in a nation where its november-december instead of summer (which is a good enough reason not to play there) and yet still putting in air conditioning at the size of a jeep all around the stadium to make it more breezy. They should havep icked a decent nation where it could be during summers, not like summers are cold in most nations (unless southern hemipshere) and we would have good summer football. I don't even know whats going to happen at the start of the season when players had absolutely no games or near to no games during summer, would injuries be bigger concern?

I agree in full with you, but the main thing here i dont understand becomes from the nationals federations or organization of the locals tournaments.

Why they dont star more early? like if ever start in August why not start the season in July? And after you can send the players to the World cup.

I dont know why we have this organization.

My pick is on Liverpool to win this time, but Benzema is in fantastic form so I am expecting and hoping we are going to see lot of goals in this final match.

Among the people who have come here so far, the most renowned person has been Peter Schmeichel definitely. He was the best goalkeeper in the world in his time but it wouldn't be fair to overlook other names too of course. One of the names that come to my mind first is Paul Gascoigne. He was also a very renowned person in his time.

I agree that other names were good names as well, there is absolutely no denying that. However, Peter Schmeichel would be a big name anywhere he goes around the world, dude was just another level. Between him and Oliver Kahn and Fabian Barthez, those three dominated the Goalkeeping of that era very easily, they were miles ahead of everyone else and seen as the best. Peter could be seen as best goalkeeper in the world at some point for sure. That is not a small feat, sure the other guests were awesome as well, but to get best goalkeeper of his team for a while, is just an insane level not easily achieved.
