My guess is that less than 5% of people opted for the more technical method to receive ICN through ETH on launch day, this method is very technical, only for experienced crypto users as Iconomi team said.

The remaining 95% majority are going to withdraw directly from their Iconomi accounts to exchanges.

That's a good idea.  It's better for people to leave their ICN on the website, until they open up withdrawals of custom amounts of ICN tokens from ico.iconomi.net

You can't see the t-ICN unless the block explorer or wallet you are using has the t-ICN contract address added to the "Watch List"

That's only if you withdraw to a ETH address, then you would need ETH in the same address in order to pay transaction fee for sending a transaction.

If you leave your ICN on ico.iconomi.net and wait for withdrawal of custom amounts on launch day, then you don't have to worry about ETH transaction fee.

Exactly. don't transfer your ICN in eth wallet if you don't have eth funds, It will just stock their and need eth for Gas for you to enable sending tokens to exchange.
I  think ICONOMI devs must make a announcement regarding this issue so that newbie are aware that ETH wallet needs fund foe sending ICN. Because even if the coin you will send is ICN, the transaction used is eth.

It doesn't matter really. The Ledger Nano S keep your Ethereum private keys safe only... Not your token. As per instruction, you then need MyEtherWallet to manage your account & token.
