Silent Army 5 is beating claymore now.  80 sol/s on rx 470 4gb and low CPU/PCI-E bus usage.  Hope Claymore v5 comes out soon because I like his mgmt features.

Yep, I have the 8GB card and only getting 60 on claymore...
I get ~68 stock 470 8GB, and ~74 stock 480 8GB.  Best to use -i 0 on Polaris, speed varies more, but faster on avg than -i 2.  Huge difficulty spike, hopefully it adjusts.  Claymore speed improvements are fast and furious though!

Hope these cards improve.

I am happy to see recent speedups, this algo was too egalitarian.

Don't be so wrapped up in Sol's that you waste power and actually make less money with more hash. Wink

Unless of course it's mid-November in Canada and you would just be running the baseboard heat anyway (and getting no Sols for it) Cheesy

Right, Damn this heater that pays for itself is awesome. Even though for being November in Saskatchewan it's damn nice out.

My triple R9 290 rig soaks a little over 1000 watts, I figure 320 or a bit over per card, on ETH - that's with a mid-level BIOS flashed out of TheStilt's line, and at 1100/1250 settings.

Haven't tried it on ZEC yet.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Huh? Of course you can use 6 cards on Win7. You have to apply a small fix though.

Hmm I'm still don't understand why not publishing linux version ? Is it technical problem ? or license problem  Cry

Which part of Claymore's LINUX SUCKS you don't get?

Seriously, what's up with all these snowflakes here? Afraid of leaving your Linux safe spaces and try something new? Should the OP include a trigger warning in the first post?

Can do 5 cards on Win7 if you disable integrated video. Win10 can do many many cards.

For linux there is open source miner with same speeds.

Win10, but if you insist on trying this with Win7, this might help: https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=712228.0;all

There is not one but two Windows miners that are free and faster than the current v4.0 Claymore miner. They work for AMD and nVidia also. If you are a Mac user, there is a version for that too.

A couple of people worked to port SA to windows and mrb added some significant improvements and nVidia support. The SA community is quite active at the moment and the results are frankly faster than v4.0 on any OS.

What about stability? Do I need restart bats every two hours. Or has that been resolved?

Edit. Frankly they burned a lot of people not giving consideration to windows users   It's about who came first. Even if they come with slightly better miner. I'm going to further support claymore. this whole mess leaves sour taste.  When you post code for people to use for free and they find a way to make it far superior and charge a small fee don't be angry. Be happy that someone got use from your code. That's all the satisfaction one should need if they truly believe in open source.  I agree credit should have been given. Small mistake for the amount of grief that came from SA clan and company!

Edit edit. The more I think about this. Was this a calculated move by those who would love to see crypto fail?  Divide and conquer???  Hmmmm
