I was reading about the cpu that i have its a G3258 with stock 3.2 GHz  but it seems like this cpu can be overclocked to 4.7 GHz and sometimes even higher but what i was wondering if i overclock this one will it be effective, will i see some higher Hash speeds in my rig? Somebody maybe already did this or somebody how nows that this will give something more in the rig? For gaming it will be better but will this also for zcash mining @ this higher block rates?

Has anyone compared Claymore 6.0 under Windows with alternative Linux miners (like Optiminer etc.)?

Especially for old 270x, 280x, 290x AMD cards.
Yes, 100s/s lower on 5 280x for optiminer...

Edit,
To be honest, the performance on 280x with Hynix is the same, ~140-144 s/s, 280x with elpida, ~130s/s, however for 7950, Claymore 6.0=127s/s, Optiminer = 70s/s
The reason may be not exactly the "miner", drivers also have a finger in this....

What motherboard/cpu/ram/os/drivers are you using for those speeds?

2 undervolted hynix and elpida 280x's doing 240 sols@330W

That is very good. What are the voltages and the clocks?

hynix: 1.050v 1000/1500
eloida 1.088v 1000/1500

I adjusted the stock bios

Asrock H97 Anniversary, Celeron(R)_CPU_G1820_@_2.70GHz, 4G DDR3, Windows 10 Build 14393/Linux Ubuntu 14.04.4, Win.drv. 15.12/Lunux 15.12.200 - fglrx auto update.

One remark - Bios mod is on Wink

Also one more thing, Optiminer 0.3.3 not load CPU under Linux, for the previous versions I do not know...

-i 4 seems to be a little unstable being it looks like the miner has restarted a few times.

-i 2 seems stable so far.

Can be a problem if your rig is known to crash with miner restarts

6xR9 380 periodically resets GPU0 speed, and the miner errors appear non-existent cards, with which it can be connected?

It's a bug, will be fixed in next update. Divide card number by 2.

How soon will be next update ?

Do you want more speed?

Yep and it looks like we are going to need a lot of it to kill this botnet or private miner or whatever.

For those of you that want to hold right now, thanks!

... zec is still the most profitable, and if these updates keep rolling in it will continue to be.

Don't expect miracles. We may be at the end of speed increase.

Somebody knows a trusted solo Pool for ZEC ?

@solorider.io i get many accepted Shares and i can not identify a real new block for me due the hidden blockchain. It seems that i helped him to find blocks ....

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with v6 causing blue screens. I get error code 0x000000EA after 5-10 min, stock everything. Was running no problems on previous versions.  I have older 7970's and 7990's. Does not seem to happen with very low intensity's.
