may not apply but someone said on the kncminer forums to check you heatsink fans etc all blowing the right direction...some folks said they had to fix ..not sure it applies but figured i'd post it
Thanks searing for the tip. I checked and the fans are correctly installed.
Well remember this is all about ME and my #304x order.....you guys have to get all this fixed....and as an aside I want a "stable" rate of 600gh....at 530w and such...I just want to plug my units in and then sit around sipping Martini's don't ya know

I found this after work : Dammit, I hate UPS !!! I never received a call and never called them. It's too late now to call, I hope that it isn't an other person that is trying to get my miners ! Day 2, Order 7x, Paid 3 June, Received today in France. Somebody tried to collect my packages at the UPS center. Fortunately UPS asked for an ID and he just went away. Be careful !

How the hell could somebody know you were going to receive the miners? Any clue on which was the attack vector? We should rule out that is somebody inside UPS Sweden who knows what's going on and giving the heads up to others..

the only thing I can come up with now is that your device has been assigned to you per order#/pay date....but then your unit happens to be defective....now it gets bypassed until new parts arrive for your unit, while the guy behind you lucks out, gets assigned a GOOD unit, and it gets shipped/delivered....and the rest of us suckers get passed on by.....order queue is sacred....so sacred that if you unit is bunk it gets by passed so the guy behind you keeps his position in the SACRED QUEUE? ? well that sucks ...the person whose unit was defective should be entertained first ..basic rule he paid first .... not saying it's right, but I have no other explaination for why one person with a later order #/pay date gets their KNC unit before someone with an earlier order # /pay date..... or why some stay "in progress" while others actually receive units who went into 'in progress' status later. Nothing makes sense but what I stated above. order #23xx ordered and paid june 18th saturn...status "in progress" as of Monday 1am pacific time....now more that 48HRS AGO!!!!!
The 23XX order that has been quoted, has that been verified? Could be just trolling!
FUKT, what do you mean trolling? and yeah, i verified it through my knc account...and now i feel FUKT...thanks.

Sent KnC an email yesterday evening asking why I have already received order #756, but have two other orders - one with earlier and one with later order order numbers than 765 - that were paid for at the same exact time that don't seem to be moving...
Just received tracking numbers for orders #75x and #76x - which had been stuck in "IN PROGRESS" since October 1st.

I was wondering the same. Another possibility is that someone hacked KnC's server.

I was wondering the same. Another possibility is that someone hacked KnC's server. And the only thing they wanted were a couple Jupiters in France! ... Anyways... Received a bit of BTC from the "KnC Hosting Address" that is supposedly running my 11 Jupiters. The payout looks like they have been running for about a day if this is indeed from Hosting. No email received as well. Once email has been received I will update. Thanks!

More likely the driver left a card, maybe someone took that or maybe left it at the wrong address? I've had that happen several times with couriers.

anyone can helpme Mining doesn't need speed, so even with 1Mbit/s you would be OK. Try Bitminter or GigaVPS Private Pool.

anyone can helpme 8mb is plenty, the amount of data sent back and forwards to the pool is small. Which pool is subjective. Personally I like the low variance of guild for which I'm happy to pay a fee. Eligius is an excellent 0 fee pool.

anyone can helpme your adsl should be enough. pools? it's up to you to choose the best one. have you ever mined before? if yes which pools did you used? if no, a try'n'fails approach should work best. e.g. if you have more than one miners, use what u think is best pools from due diligence you should have already done. then point every miner to a different pool. after a while (let's say a day) choose what you think is the best.

Can also confirm that I've received my 5BTC compensation.
Very interesting, hashing what looks like 1btc/hr more or less to re compensate people who havent received their hosting setup yet. LOL, this is so fucked up. EDIT: Looks as if plasmoke edited his post and took KNC's bitcoin address out. Here it is anyway: https://blockchain.info/address/1D5FhoiuLMJJ43BCMGidwvbKWfr71g1vH9So KnC say they will not mine with customer's hardware, and will hash with up to 5% of their sold hashrate I would guesstimate about 38TH on that block finding rate, so they may have sold 760TH of preorders.

This is an address I was paid from and it didn't look like compensation to me. It looks like what a full day of hashing would be as a payout. We'll know soon enough I suppose. Update: It actually seems to have been compensation for 3 Miners.
