Hi O'rama, I know there are more pressing matters to be discussed, but do you happen to know when resellers who managed the 10 units are going to get their miners?
Also, do you know what is going on with the reseller portal?
From what I understand, as someone asked me this at the conference, or words about; basically you get your miner at the point at which your 10th miner sale ships un-refunded. So if you sold 10 Jupiters in the October batch, you get your miner at the point at which the 10th Jupiter is sent. So in essence it is part of the October shipment. If your tenth is a November sale, then you get yours at such point your 10th sale leaves for shipment. For sure though you have to sell 10 of any one type, so 10 Jupiters= 1 Jupiter free, 10 Saturns = 1 Saturn, 10 Mercuries etc. It's not a combo of 10 various types. I don't think anyone managed to sell 10 boxes for an October shipment, other than that that bought 10+, and that's not many. I'm no expert on this though, as I haven't been part of the affiliate thing, even though i've probably helped shift a few, or most. Funny thing, when i mentioned this to you previously, you said you were NOT helping them at all and 'merely expressing opinions' Had it not been for you personally over enthusiastically vouching for them i would NOT have paid for my order. i am over it now, but i was not impressed by your conduct in previous times. i like you more now, the new, more honest bitcoinorama.... it would seem travel & expenses bring out the better in you. now back to packing!! Indirectly. It's obvious as a consequence to me asking and relaying evidence I procured that people on the fence made up their minds with what I conveyed, but I always stood my ground with respect to honesty and integrity, and always told people to strengthen and confirm my research with their own. I've never lied, so i'm unsure how my conduct has been anything but helpful in ensuring this project stayed on track. Any accusations towards scams that I've made have been wholly accurate. I expect to be proven correct about dishonest marketing practices used elsewhere as well. My optimism and defense of the project throughout the duration came down to the fact I knew these guys were genuine and wanted to focus on delivering in time. I also knew that they had strongly vouched to promise worst case specs so as not to misappropriate facts with marketing fiction. At the end of the day; I want to see my miner, as much as you want to see yours. My sole purpose in heading out there in the first place was to research them for myself, and my sole intent in remaining positive and providing supporting arguments was to counteract FUD being spread by competitors posing as users of this forum. The very same accusing me of allsorts. At the end of the day they had to stand on their own two feet and provide irrefutable evidence, as promised, within the given timeframe, or it means nothing to anyone. I don't think anyone is letting me anywhere near packing again. I think my plan of uploading such a piss poor ability to pack scuppered that. Mission accomplished. Mwuhahaha! Orama, Glad to hear you are catching your breath dude... And its also good to see the trolls dry up / praise you in the aftermath of all the FUD that was thrown at you. Hope you continue working with KNC. I just hope they recognize really how much business you brought them. That Aside, can you please address the Capacitor issue? I have 3 of these in-bound and am scared as hell to leave them alone by themselves... Can you please inquire about this issue and see if you can get some answers for the following questions: 1. The model / Capacitance of the Cap's that are blowing 2. What the theoretical cause of is as to why these are blowing when the machine is restarted after a lock-up. Much appreciate it dude... Look forward to hearing from you

^^ 50btc was hit by another dos attack today. I was down for about an hour 40deg and 38deg temps on my Saturn (case cover off) just upgraded to .094 and hash rate is a little slower but HW errors are at 10% . I purposely stayed on 0.91 before this as the results from the other 2 firmware patches didn't look too good. around 5% HW errors on 0.91

from their site: Price drop for BTC payments
All
As customers have started returning for more purchases already. We would like to take this opportunity to add our own support to the bitcoin currency by offering 10% discount on all bitcoin payments
Simply add the items you wish to purchase to your cart, choose BitPay as the payment method and the discount will be automatically calculated in the shop.
Simple as that
Thanks
KnCMiner Team
This is rather annoying. I just put in BitPay orders not too long ago. It is not only annoying, it is unfair against all previous Nov customers, regardless what payment method used. I have a Nov order paid September 10th and I think about refund, because it is not acceptable to lower the price at one time within one batch in a pre-order sale. Someone who paid yesterday is completely screwed. As I said, this sales policy is not acceptable. Pre-orders? Isn't the discount for new orders? It is a tough one, when ever a company offers a discount, the customers who ordered the day before and sooner are pissed. I ordered an erupter at 270 Euro and 3 days later they were at half that. (And I didn't get it from GB, so no discount coupon). Anyway, maybe I don't understand your complaint, but isn't offering a discount pretty much always like this? (Meaning from one date on? Not retroactively). IAS

So, we're about half way through the oct 15th batch, production didn't really get going for a couple of days, and has now done so..with about 30 assembly benches (sorry, can't make that bit of wood on a trolley sound as good as KnC do ) ...looks like the 15th deadline is possible given they will be getting better at it by now ? Couriers permitting of course.

So where do you guys place Bitfury in terms of delivering on promise schedule as per them That issue in terms of 'delivery" has a harsh meaning to us former BFL customers (probably down 8K) I ordered my stuff in April 2013 (the same month KNC became a company and posted such)...and it is still gonna be 3 weeks at best for my 65gh from BFL (sorry I digress) So if I remember right "Bitfury" may be legitimate as heck...but I don't think they take Paypal , Paypal with credit cards nor do they I think take regular credit cards like KNC ...so once burnt I'll stay away till such happens..I did a bank xfer with BFL and could have easily gotten my $$$ back by reversing charges at this point...but w/o a credit card or even using your banks debit card (usually have a cc mine is backed by visa) .....I am crap out of luck.... I'm not gonna play that game ever again ...so learn from my mistakes..only pay by credit card.....look at TerraHash as far as I can determine the chip maker was at fault and did not get him the chips ..I think it was Avalon...so even if the mnfg is legit stuff can still happen where you hold the bag. IMHO the asic mnfg companies are gonna have to step it up and do as KNC has done at least paypal with cc and direct cc payment as well. on a side note people tout Cointerra ...and cointerra flaunts the fact it has high tech people and big money behind their product (not harsh I wish them luck) but for asic mining companies to blow smoke and say they can't get paypal or cc options for their customers is a bunch of hoohey KNC got cc direct payment visa master card and paypal and got the paypal cc option like 1 month after they STARTED the company and a couple months later got direct cc payment and KNC has only existed maybe 6 months... anyway to me it smells that so many 'choose' not to have paypal or cc options imho..want you to have ALL the risk... so will stay away from anything that is not KNC who has stated they can't get cc options or paypal imho...for the time being I'd rather wait on KNC and of course anyone reading this does not know about BFL google them ..you will see to run away....they take paypal but don't deliver for more then 1yr anyway live an learn from my mistake my 2c worth Searing I see this statement an awful lot... "I will only use a credit card to buy ASIC miners." So what good are Bitcoins if the people who mine them won't even use them to make purchases?! It sounds like we don't really have a need for BTC. Credit cards are good enough, apparently. What it says to me is that there is one hell of an opportunity for c.c. companies to have bitcoin denominated credit cards!

Sadly, that would only be a hand-full-of-millions market. More crumbs fall under the table at a CC executive lunch than that.

I inquired about my #26XX order and this was the response I got:
"...We are currently working on Day 1 and Day 2 production, these are pre-orders.
We are following the queue placements and as soon as we reach yours, the miner will be produced and shipped to you.
Your miner is expected to ship as it was initially scheduled - before 15th of October. You will be informed with tracking number and estimated delivery date once the miner is produced.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.
Med vänlig hälsning | Best regards Anna Jagdhar..."
Maybe I'm reading into it too much, but I'm not really encouraged by it.

It's all in the details, literally.
How about a clear answer to my 2 numbered questions above? Bump. https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=170332.msg3307588#msg3307588Surely with your obsession for detail, it must be eating you up not to reply to these? P.S. KNC still shipping in those unsuitable single walled boxes? Three whole questions for you to answer, in detail. P.P.S. How come on the controller board there are 6 terminals, but shipped miners are only being shipped with 4 in place? Four questions, awaiting details!
