How many did you manage to sell via your reseller account out of interest?

Got my reseller ID just 10days ago when this idea came to my mind.
As it seems like a win-win for both of us - the buyer and me, I'm going for it.

Until now I just told some guys I know about this opportunity, this is the very first public offering..

Ever since the last diff change, block creation has actually been below target.  I can't remember the last time I saw that...

I know MBP is shipping some Bitfury hashpower, but it seems no one else is shipping much.  Maybe we will actually get a much smaller diff increase on the next readjustment.  That would be a nice change for once in a long while.

Yup. So much money is tied up in delayed preorders. Maybe we'll be lucky and Novement will only be +100% difficulty over October.

... and with Christmas just around the corner, I'm hoping people will be too busy being Jolly rather than shipping new units. Of course if you've ordered a unit for shipping in December, I hope you get your unit(s), but... you know Wink

With the out of control prices for BTC lately, it seems like Jupiters are actually a decent price if u have BTC to spend.   $5k (then -10% for BTC discount) so the cost is around 13-15 BTC depending on exchange rate.   Do you think a Jupiter will mine more than 15 coins???    I would think so, especially with the Hashfast delays, cointerra delays, Alydian going under, no Gen2 Avalon, and who cares about BFL.

Some say the price is too high,  it doesn't appear to be high when you lay the facts out.

I agree, but I need to pay 25% vat on top. Still is good price though.

I assume if u do hosting, you wouldn't need to pay vat?   Remove VAT and power supply and the extra security of knowing if a board dies they replace it within a day, makes hosting an ok choice too.   I was waiting to see if they release a Hosted Jupiter(S) which would have 6 boards and run at 750 Ghs.

I think it does not matter, its a term of sale and you having hosting or not as end consumer need to pay VAT. Only business does not need to pay it, they will when it enter thier country but they can deduct it as tax return as business asset.

finally the increase seems to flatten Smiley
Weird, because with this high BTC value I can image some are even turning on gpus for BTC again..

Takes over 1,250 GPUs at 400MH/GPU to equal 1 Jupiter. I doubt GPUs will be any profounding impact.

I've seen a few mentions here about a "10% discount" on BTC payments. Where does that appear on the KNC website?

edit:

if electriciy is for free a 7970 will produce $0.24 a day right now, if you bet BTC value increases you might turn on again
and those usbminers consume 2,5W at 333MH/s

edit:
it's like ants - a single one is a joke, but when they reach up to 2-3m² you're in trouble
little exaggerated, I know, just want to point out that flattening/decrease is a little weird under current conditions - but for sure I have no fear of gpus with a Jupiter Smiley

At this difficulty GPU mining is completely out of the question unless you're on free energy. And even then these cannot make an impact.

Can some one tell me the exact height of a jupiter.   I see the number on their site but that seems rounded and I am wondering if this actually fits in a 4U slot since the rack needs to have shelves (which take some of the 4U space).
thanks
