Another thing - Wish KNC had Saturday delivery available/readily offered. I know it's an extra 15$ for UPS Saturday Delivery, but 2 days of extra hashing is definitely worth it.
That's a VERY good point.

That's a VERY good point. +1 All three of my Jupiters could have been delivered on a Saturday instead of Monday. That's a lot of lost hashes

Maybe you can rework the delivery.

I do - I've chatted and called UPS, they cite that unless the shipper, shipped it as Saturday delivery, they could only release the package from the local hub on Monday. That's a lot of lost hashes for individuals. I'll talk to my UPS contact to see if anything can be done, but it's unlikely. This is an rma for a rma (2/6 rma'd chips had die 0 issue) Hopefully they'll take the feedback and provide superior service next generation. (Orama!!)

Is there anything I can do to get these cores to work? On board 3 none of the cores work, and on board 2 about 24 out of the 192 cores seem to stay off. I just got the miner today and when I initially started it up the hashrate climbed up to about 660/670, but later i checked and noticed it was running at about 480GH/s. https://i.imgur.com/OipHElT.pngI also have the same issue. 2 Nov Jupiters, both have their own 1200w PSU. Both started off at 660+ GH but after 12 hours one unit is at 500GH with all cores disabled on one ASIC board Tried hard reset, checked connections Has anybody managed to salvage such a board ? Thanks try change pool eligius have problems witch kncminer Eligius had some problems lately but i don't think it is only related to knc hw I personally left Eligius once I learned Luke Jr. used the pool (and thus my hashpower) to execute a 51% attack to destroy an altcoin without my knowledge. I also came across some pretty religiously intolerant posts he made and learned he includes religious text in the blocks Eligius finds which made it easy to switch as well... Odd.... It was my understanding Wizkid is Eligius, and Luke JR. is Slush..... am I Mistaken? Yes. Wizkid runs eligius, Luke-jr wrote the underying software (eloi) Slush is a different guy altogether. That much I'm sure of. I think Luke is also heavily involved in running eligius, but that's speculation. (I lurked for a long time before I registered )

These forums are not for the faint of heart. Neptunes are about sold out for pre-orders and they could ship anywhere from Jan-June since they specified a Q1/Q2 ship date. They have finished shipping the November Jupiters and Saturns. If you want to order a Neptune I'd do it now and pay by bitcoin. Bank transfers have been problematic as of late. Not sure why.

I set them all like this and a few hours later a random miner get a different IP, I change it back, then another miner gets a different IP and so on.

How come they aren't shipping them out ASAP? Still waiting for parts? Because the ASCIs (IC Chips) are not yet designed. So yes -- waiting for parts would be a gentle way of saying it.

No idea but you may want to look into DHCP reservation as a work around. Most routers support it and honestly once you get it down you will never go to static IP addresses again. Many enterprise grade networks use it because it simplifies management. Set all the Jupiters to use DHCP and then in your router there should be a section on DHCP reservation. In the router you assign a particular network device (PC, mining rigs, printers, etc) a particular IP address. So the jupiter boots up contacts the router (DHCP server) and always get the same IP address assigned by DHCP. The nice thing is all the config is done in the router so the device only needs to support DHCP.

I have it and it works, but the only problem is the DHCP server gives random IP addresses that I can reserve. I want to specify the IP addresses myself - 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 and 106 as in 192.168.1.101

I'm a noob here so bear with me I have a static IP but I simply checked the DHCP box and my router is also setup as such and viola..all I know just tossing it out there...anyway ie that was my noob solution to this ..er also my router allows me to lock an IP like the 192.1xx.x.106 etc to my miner also have a standard dlink dir-615 cheap unit with built in wireless...anyway was my noob solution
