@Phoenix - Cheers man - and thanks for the helpful stuff over the thread. What island you on? I'm on Oahu for a while in January - figure least I could do is buy the hot-hashing "pioneer" a beer I live on the Big Island, very close to Kilauea Volcano... I don't drink, but we can toast to success each in our own way... But I'm sure I'll be sharing mine with ya if you do... hehe

Will you get back BTC or a bank wire? Anybody asked?

Best thing to do is to not check the prices for a while and pretend it was all just a bad dream.

Could they send BTC or do they have to make a bank wire?

It will be refunded to a bank, not btc or bitpay, if you want a refund, email the order number, your username & bank info to sales. transfers take a week to ten days... I also found out they don't keep any BTC from machine sales, that Bitpay converts it all to fiat before they get it.

I was reading that the Chinese govt has told the exchanges they can no longer convert to fiat or deal (trade/move/etc) with fiat at all, rendering them no longer an exchange.
Anyone else confirm this?
Wonder if they're doing this to cause a drop on purpose. To what end would be the question.

If one believes in the long term viability of Bitcoin, the latest price correction is not a bad thing... From a mining perspective, a higher BTC price will increase the speed of the network much faster, making mining more difficult. The latest price correction should have a chilling effect on difficulty increases. BTC price movements tend to occur quickly and are hard to anticipate, so load up on BTC while you still can... If the price moves the opposite way and goes to $10,000, difficulty will go up faster than any of us have ever seen.
