If one believes in the long term viability of Bitcoin, the latest price correction is not a bad thing... From a mining perspective, a higher BTC price will increase the speed of the network much faster, making mining more difficult. The latest price correction should have a chilling effect on difficulty increases. BTC price movements tend to occur quickly and are hard to anticipate, so load up on BTC while you still can... If the price moves the opposite way and goes to $10,000, difficulty will go up faster than any of us have ever seen. Yeah...looks suspiciously like a market manipulation, so China higher-ups can buy in maybe....lol But I'm enjoying the volatility while trading... doin well BTW..... Could someone tell me how this re-seller portal stuff works.... I don't quite get the input fields here....

Not too sure, I would think so if you bought using your reseller link though.

Sam told me that yes, if you make purchases using your reseller link, it's no different than using someone else's--that particular reseller ID is credited with each sale. So if you bought 10 whatevers with your reseller ID, you will receive 1 bonus whatever.

The latest price correction should have a chilling effect on difficulty increases. BTC price movements tend to occur quickly and are hard to anticipate, so load up on BTC while you still can... Except for the PHs and PHs of pre-orders which are going to be used no matter what. If/when all the companies are selling from stock or have very short (say 30 day) pre-order windows the exchange rate might affect it but the "spike" likely drove in lots and lots of PH/s worth of pre-orders which will remain even when the price crashes back. Bitcoin never going above $500 may have slowed pre-orders but the spike to $1200 and then falling back to $500 is just a lose lose for miners.

Humorous prediction: Chinese govt & people will wait until the value is absolutely tanked, and then corner the market by buying the majority of bitcoin. Sometime later, they will announce bitcoin is the best thing ever. Value shoots back up, and they now control the market.

Ahahaha.. This guy has been wrong twice already in the past m8. Anyone who draws a graph that puts "mid-2014" at roughly "January 2014" doesn't get any credit from me BI hate bitcoin and this "Finance Professor" is probably bought and paid for by the banks. BI certainly is. The next big thing to unsettled btc will be JP Morgan trying to prove they invented and own bitcoin, with their patents trolling. We are probably going to see a flatline in btc price for quite some time while all these a-holes take their shots at destroying it. But some unexpected and positive news may be round the corner, which could bring it back up in price again fast - you never can tell with bitcoin N.B. Sorry, off-topic. I return you to your regularly scheduled program...
