Hi, today have reopened all the offices of kncminer. Any news ?
not that I see ...myself....if they got us something the 1st of feb I'd be looking at if lucky 0.1btc per day...still iffy if I will do so..even with brothers at only 1/3 the risk I still figure it will be 3.5k a machine and it will trickle out to us a little after feb 1st most likely (ie need time ..er business days to get up to speed don't work on weekends imho) just looks like a tight squeeze if you think they MAY bet neptunes out in Q1 ie april this bitcoin stuff makes my head hurt Searing

I hope they announce if they are selling or not by the end of the week I have been holding off ordering any mining gear until I find out what knc are doing. I'm keen to get the wheels in motion to combat rising difficulty by ordering something.

Guess the network will remain protected from us. I received the exact same email when I inquired as well. I replied with the following: Thanks Natalie. I'm aware of the Neptune offer and currently have two on order. Would I be correct to interpret your response as an indication that there will be no more Jupiters in the near future?
To which Natalie quickly replied: Hi, Currently we don't have any information about upcoming news and products. Best regards Med vänlig hälsning Natalie Forslund Kncminer www.kncminer.com I don't think we should read too much into this as the support staff probably won't be briefed on any new Jupiter batch information until the internal team makes a decision.

Guess the network will remain protected from us. The wording of the NPP is very careful, they talk about "our competitors" I don't think they conisder anyone selling anything less than a 28nm 400Gh/s unit as a competitor really. So they really mean Hashfast, Cointerra, Black Arrow and Bitmine.ch So unless those guys actually start shipping their batches in significant numbers then I don't think we will see more KnC hardware coming out the warehouse. Also, the closer they get to neptune launch the less likely they are to release the 28nm product. Of course that may change very fast if One of the big 4 potential competitors actually starts shipping. Although I don't think any of them are going to until the end of Jan/early Feb

They will honour their NPS, do not expect any additional Jupiter before mass shippment of other competitors - your best indication for new Jup right now is the Cointerra/ Hashfast thread... Edit: Biffa above said it more eloquent than me

We just pave the way for their success?! 3PH more ~ + 20 % difficulty. (KnC, HF, CT,...) + (CloudHashing, Mining Farms...) <=> Poor us. Who can clearly explain this issue?

Sounds like for the "first time", they're floundering on their word. A month ago they confirmed they would in fact be selling Jupiters by now (actually, by now they should've been shipped). Now they're quiet.
Either they're releasing the Neptune much earlier than anticipated, like next month, or they're simply going to ignore their word.

Actually they said: As it looks like our struggling competition may eventually ship before our Network protection period has finished, we may be in a position to release Jupiter’s and possibly upgrade cards which we will ship from stock.
If we do have more items to place in the shop for our 28nm range, we will announce this via one of our newsletters which will contain the time and date that they will go on sale. So keep some coins handy as we expect them to go quick.

Someone is still adding a boatload of hashing power to the network and difficulty is still going up ~20% every difficulty increase. I thought the difficulty increases would slow down after Knc finished shipping their November batch since 28nm miners from other manufacturers have been delayed. http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficultyDoes anyone care to speculate on who is adding all the hashing power at the moment? The Bitmain Antminer batches seem too small to have a huge impact. I thought BitFury was basically waiting on more chips to be manufactured. AsicMiner doesn't seem to be doing much. BFL has overpriced 65nm products in stock, but I can't imagine that they are selling many. Avalon Gen2 chips are power hogs. Where is all this hashing power coming from?

I am guessing that it could be a bunch of dark farms in china fueled by access to foundries and chips.

Where is all this hashing power coming from? that is indeed a good question. anybody care to speculate? i'll try... 1. i think we see a private mining company wich products are unknown to the public. 2. Almost every Asic Manufacturer mines for them self too. Do we know how much hashpower KnC is adding for their own mine? So maybe the late december mentioned jupiters wich will ship from on stock are probably jupiters wich were mining for KnC?

Emphasized slightly for those that are of an optimistic disposition Except in email response to particular KNC thirsty members here, they did confirm they would be opening the order books. After this post. I'm not exactly optomistic, I'm not buying anything from them. As to the recent hashpower... Cointerra testing equipment? 2nd week of January is when they should've had systems hitting the assembly line for a test run-through. People are still buying BFL's vastly overpriced "in stock" garbage unfortunately.
