I'm looking for the best books about blockchain technology that you would recommend me, that would help me expand my knowledge of Bitcoin's underlying technology. I know that there are many books about the subject, but I want to know which books are the best that you would consider worth reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated with this.

It seems like you're wanna be the blockchain expert. We are having the same purpose to be the blockchain experts. But I starting it for active read the in the various subsections. I am a silent reader in the development and technical section. franky can become the best teacher for this.

I would read all the work from Andreas Antonopoulos , mastering bitcoin is probably a good start, it goes pretty technical, then I would probably read cryptography books and other related books to crypto and not only blockchain stuff if you want to become a master. All the guys working in bitcoin have strong backgrounds in math cryptography etc...its a crazy field, I would never be able to do it.

I read a few books on Bitcoin, including: Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper Virtual Billions by Eric Geissinger However, they are mostly about the people who use Bitcoin, with little technical information. I do, however, recommend this video series: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNcSSleedtfyDuhBvOQzFzQIt is very informative and technical, mentions things like smart contracts and PoS, but is a little outdated, so don't expect to find any mention of recent events.

It seems like you're wanna be the blockchain expert. We are having the same purpose to be the blockchain experts. But I starting it for active read the in the various subsections. I am a silent reader in the development and technical section. franky can become the best teacher for this. Yeah. I not only want to become a blockchain expert to further expand my knowledge, but to also help companies, businesses and banks whenever they need to setup their own blockchain solution. Ever since I've found out about Bitcoin, I became deeply interested into blockchain technology. That is why I always make questions, to get answers and expand my knowledge. Hopefully, franky would be very helpful in helping me achieve this goal.
Thanks mate. I have found out that Bitcoin is way more than a blockchain, which involves a wide array of subjects like cryptography, merklee trees, and others. It would be hard to get a grasp at all this to become an expert in Bitcoin and blockchain, but in the end it would be worth it. Nevertheless, I'm looking to start a career in blockchain technology, sometime in the future. Thanks a lot for these very useful resources. I'll be adding them up towards my list to further expand my knowledge about Bitcoin and its underlying technology. As for the videos, I sometimes find it a better way to learn than reading books, as their visuals help a lot in understanding the subject better than just plain text. Nevertheless, if you have more great stuff you'd like to share, then feel free to do so. I'm looking forward to learn more each day. Thank you for your list of recommended books. I've started to read the Blockchain Revolution book, and so far it looks quite interesting as it explains how the trust protocol came and how it will change the world. Quite a good book for those who are new to blockchain, as well as those that have started studying it.

Although a year old it is still relevant especially for those late comers, there are a lot of videos on youtube about bitcoin and this is also my best source when it comes to finding the best information about Bitcoin, past and present of course not only bitcoin but all topics and keywords.

Why want to read book about blockchain technology if you can search everything on internet? Google got everything you want. Seems like you wanna be an expert. This forum can give much informations. Plus you can ask them about everything on blockchain technology. There are also many videos at youtube. Sometimes its more easier to undertand everything through your visions.

As much as there is a wealth of information on the internet, I mostly prefer physical books to add up to my personal library to teach myself about the blockchain as well as serve as educational tools for new people that I would be introducing towards cryptocurrencies. I want to become a blockchain expert, as I believe that it is a disruptive technology that will become used in the mainstream by central banks and governments worldwide. Because of this, I have become more interested into starting my career into everything related blockchain (ex: development, etc.) Still, I have no doubt that the internet is the best way to teach yourself about this innovative technology, so Google and YouTube are the best resources to get started with it. If you guys happen to know of any blockchain certifications that would certify me as an official blockchain expert, please let me know.

Mastering Bitcoin (mentioned earlier) followed by https://www.amazon.com/Cryptography-Engineering-Principles-Practical-Applications/dp/0470474246 gave me a good primer in how these systems work--this is also a good free course if you want to go a bit further https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aHkqB2-46k. For the most part, the math is beyond me, but I was still able to learn best practices, gain enough understanding to know the BS from thoughtful opinion or entrenched fact, and realize that each system has tradeoffs between security and efficiency that must be considered by the developer and the end user.

One of the best books imo is "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies:A Comprehensive Introduction" from Princeton University. The writers has also did a MOOC in Coursera platform with the same subject. So their book follows the same way where with a simple way and using illustrative examples, where that is necessary, they explain bitcoin and blockchain technology and they introduce readers about altcoins too.

Yeah. As Blockchain is making strides in the business industry, as well as transforming the internet, it has made me become more interested into it, by expanding my career into something blockchain related. It is of no doubt that blockchain is the technology of the future, and will change our daily lives from finance, to healthcare, to governance, and more. Great. Thanks for this wonderful resource. It is good to see Bitcoin and Blockchain technology being introduced at college level like Princeton University. Hopefully, this material would be of great use to me towards reaching my goal of becoming a blockchain expert.

I've recently read mastering blockchain by Imran Bashir, this is the best book I've found so far. Before this I read mastering Bitcoin which is a great book too but is only focused on Bitcoin. There are other books too but "mastering Blockchain" covers almost everything ranging from theoretical concepts to practical Blockchain development. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who needs a solid foundation in Blockchain technology. Here are the table of contents for your reference.
Blockchain 101 Decentralization Cryptography and Technical Foundations Bitcoin Alternative Coins Smart Contracts Ethereum 101 Ethereum Development Hyperledger Alternative Blockchains Blockchain-Outside of Currencies Scalability and Other Challenges Current Landscape and What's Next

Thanks for sharing these useful resources, mate. They have very detailed information, to help you get started on your journey towards becoming a blockchain expert. One of the topics which I like the most is Ethereum with its Smart Contracts. If it becomes perfectioned, and adopted by businesses and corporations, we could see a world full of automation from filling your car's gas tank, to using your washing machine, and more. By learning everything about the blockchain, and Bitcoin's technical aspects, I hope to not only become a master of the subject but also use those skills to create my own cryptocurrency, and more.
