For those that want to go to an exciting conference:

https://www.anarchapulco.com/

You may know one of the speakers that will be announced soon.

 Wink
That's Jeff Berwick's (The dollar vigilante) event iirc.  I used to watch his content a couple years ago before he started reminding me of that coked out friend who lost his mind. Made some good calls in Bitcoin, at least I'll give him that.
Should be a good party for sure with a lot of familiar faces.

What will you be speaking on?

Escape.

How exciting, been waiting for that!

I think it's time to take off, there have been many Bitcoins moves towards some exchanges, Binance, Bitfinex ... that bullish momentum is needed to put this more exciting.

The next movements may be looking for new offer levels of $ 8k and up.

I don't like the look of that chart . The last 8 months is too similar to Aug 2017 to Feb 2018, and suggests a new leg down to sub 3k., rather than upside.

Better scrub that and try a more positive analysis.

I remember August 2017 to December 2017 being a quite wonderful feeling.

I still think that we are still in a kind of late 2015 to early 2016 period... still waiting for the May 2016 breakout.

We already had our October/November 2015 break out, and that was when we broke up to $13,880.  Of course, no two breakouts or chart patterns are going to look alike, but still Majormax, you should at least be attempting to compare the correct areas of the fractal.  AmiNOTrite?

Well, it would appear that none other than HRC has confirmed beyond doubt that Tulsi Gabbard is, in fact, the candidate to beat.

According to BurgerCrypto for October, the upward trend begins on Halloween / early November.
His model based from Bitcoin’s historical returns and the stock to flow ratio.

The expected returns translated them to expected prices:

According to this, the bearish trend ended completely, what remains is to wait for its bullish development.

so V8

I did a little homework and reviewed the highlights of England v Australia and NZ v Ireland.

My takeaways;

1 Yeah, y'all have a tough road ahead, while England's win was decisive, the All Blacks pretty much had their way with the sons of Eire.

2 What is this sissified game they are playing now?  I hardly recognize it.  This is really disturbing.

Yes absolutely... Please show me which are the correct areas on that particular chart.

Be calm, goyim.  The southern Italian wetback Fillipone should be here any moment to deliver today's dirty diaper load of Bitcoin propaganda.  Something about imaginary timestamps having stock and flow you need to rush out and buy every timestamp you can find before the world runs out of timestamps entirely.

A chart that claims the price of Bitcoin is not 10% chance, not 50% chance, not 99% chance, but 100% chance guaranteed to always go up at a 45 degree angle to infinity AND become the world reserve currency while pretending superior settlement instruments like physical metals don't exist.  This looks totally legit.  While also having a price that would cause Bitcoin to use more power than the entire United States sometime in late 2020-2021.  Who could possibly argue with such well thought out conclusions?

... still keeping a watch out for major civil unrest going into the end of Oct., early Nov. period, especially US and UK ... looks like spontaneous boil-overs in Spain, Chile and Lebanon are signs that major mood swings are coming (adds to on-going Hong Kong and Eucador).

... solar cycle low sometime between now and early 2020.

... planet is now overdue for massive earthquake somewhere, West coast US is overdue on decadal timeframes.

... expect possible final buying opportunity in BTC/$6k zone before end of the year.

I had a quick listen on headphones, i also have been a fan of Primus since two dozen years, btw.
The music is great, but it's likely better to listen to the album as a whole on stereo speakers.
I have used a pair of beyerdynamic dt-770 pro, no equalizer or whatsoever effects on my notebook's main analog out.
It was pretty exhausting to listen to the pinpoint-like separation of instruments and voices, in stereo placement as well as frequency spectrum and "room" definition, and also slightly glassy quality of the overall sound. This might sound really good on tube amps/speakers that add plenty of "glue" to audio material. I'll have to listen to it again on my analog stereo, but the kids are sleeping.

Thanks for the link.
(out of merit)

Keep in mind that Youtube is crap for hifi.

I have a lossless version that sounds stellar with decent headphones and a headphone amp. Can easily discern all instruments and effects with no effort and can properly sense the spatial placements of the sounds as well.

Though of course if your stereo setup beats your headphone setup you'll enjoy it through that much more. I'd recommend getting the album or checking out TPB for flacs.

Definitely second listening through the whole album in one go though. That's how prog rock albums are meant to be listened to anyways, for a good reason.

They're more like movies for your ears than songs.

Well, the quality was sufficient for basic judgement, but after listening over the studio monitors + sub from a decent focusrite audio interface, i could pinpoint two aspects of this "problem".

1. It's a modern production, very clear and with a good amount of stereo imaging/widening. Nothing wrong with that. But:

2. I discovered, while listening to older material in comparison, that my brain hard wired prog and psychedelic rock and "dirty" oldscool sound. So in the case of this album i just wasn't used to material like kyuss and the likes to sound so damn clear and well defined. Call me old fashioned, but i seem to expect tape saturated sound with certain types of rock music. I had similar "problems" (which weren't really problematic) with the newer stuff by the red hot chili peppers back then, it sounded too thin to me, while it was nearly perfect from a modern production type of view.

Not to say, listening to the music itself, as my mind got used to the new sound, is a pleasing sonic adventure  Grin

EDIT: Forgot that this production is way more easy on the ears via speakers, compared to headphones. Too much stereo/separation going on for me. Miss my good old mono/stereo switch like i had on almost any analog mixer that i have touched before.

Tha lil Sunday pumps...
2 0 6 to halvening!!!
Plan B hopium.

I like this graph.
I don't know why, but I now feel the urge to post another one:

Source: Bitcoin’s natural long-term power-law corridor of growth

This is an uberbullish log-log graph (log axis on values, log axis on time):

Quote
It predicts that the price will not reach $100 000 before 2021, but it also predicts that the price will not be lower than $100 000 by 2028. It predicts that the price will not reach $1 000 000 before 2028, but also that the price will not be lower than that after 2037. The model predicts ever increasing prices, although at a slower and slower rate.

Hope you like, Mic

It's quite funny this lying retard Bitcoin propagandist "Plan B" claims that "silver is not money" while claiming Bitcoin is, and gold 'sort of is'.  HAHAHA.  Silver has even more monetary history than gold does.  This anonymous retard is probably Larry Summers himself.  And no, Bitcoin is not money, it's a currency.  All currencies are man-made, Keynesian scams based on artificial scarcity that start at a value of zero and always return there on a long enough timeline.
