I know this isn't really the place for it, but can anybody explain this DAO thing to me in simple terms?  I feel like the odds of it being a technobabble hype to obfuscate things (a lousy investment) are too high for me to put in the effort to figure it out.  But I could be wrong.  If the subject is deemed too off-topic, I ll delete this post.

Here's a old video of Vitalik explaining DAO. Not sure if relevant.

Yeah, things are really picking up now. Price even up today, 0.26%.
No match for contemporary cryptos like ETH of course (that did SIXTEEN TIMES better @+4.11% Shocked), but taking into account Bitcoin's archaic tech and crippling public image issues, we're doing better than expected.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

You can employ all the spinning and pumping that you like, whored, but we's in bitcoinlandia are in a very decent place these days.  Things are looking pretty good with overall BTC price movement and some of the apparent issue resolutions....

Cannot be sure; however, if some kind of amazing FUCD spreading may come out of the woodworks, especially if BTC prices starts to touch upon and crack into the $470s... Only $13 dollars to go (a little less than 3%).

On the other hand, if you holding both BTC and ETH, I would be more confident about my BTC retaining its value and appreciate more in value, as compared with ETH...

Note, I am writing a bit in the hypothetical because currently, as I type, I do not own any ETH......  but I do own BTC.    Wink Wink Wink

>460 again soon...
took longer than expected.
but i think at this point expecting an unexpected BOOM upward is the way to go.
the way i see it an aggressive climb >520 is looming, it will happen very fast, 475 one day >520 the next.
and then we all know what happens next.  Cool

since most seem bullish for may 31st.
i've reset the poll to see just how bullish the bulls are, i left a bearish option for the few bears betting on doom and gloom

I was tempted to vote less than 700, but we are only 2.5 weeks away, i think we'll see that bump over 520 in that time but >600 is pushing it considering  the time frame, so <600 is my vote.

Here is hoping you are correct, Adam. Since BTC and LTC are moving in lockstep and trading at odds with XMR/ETH etc.. it makes sense to buy a little LTC if you really believe bitcoin is about to rally hard.

After three and a half years of accumulation I have become patient.

I'll bet that almost nobody knows what a DAO is. I sure as shit don't. But it's a number that probably goes UP.

All you need to know about why buying the DAO will likely cause you to lose large amounts of money:

I'm looking at tradeblock and it is showing blocks being made with average 4 minutes apart!!
That's crazy.. difficulty is supposed to keep re-targeting for a time of 10 minutes.

That is an unimaginable increase in hashing power to get down from the target of 10 min.
 Huh
