More hilarity from the Satoshi Vision conference.  Packed to the rafters with token shills.

gawd awful. This is why I loathe this space Roll Eyes

I'm going to start a conference called "Steve Jobs' Vision". It's going to be all about how Apple has lost it's way, and the NeXT computer was the perfect desktop computer that people should have been using all along.  I'll manufacture about 5 new NeXT computers, and take pre-orders for the rest.

I'm sure Apple enthusiasts will all trash their Macbooks and iPhones and turn out for my conference by the thousands.  Because "hur dur mah vision".  Roll Eyes

They will soon be trashing their Macbooks and iPhones anyway because of the Spectre and Meltdown chip flaws. The patches are crap and as soon as new chips are available most old Macbooks and iPhones are getting trashed, or sold for peanuts on ebay.

Not unless the NeXT computer is immune to Spectre and Meltdown like the raspberry pi. It can't be any worse than a pi, or can it?

Lol the guy @ 1:34 "I'm creating decentralized derivatives and decentralized fiat that earns interest, and lives on the blockchain..."

No dude, what you're creating is another Bitconnect Ponzi scam.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin massively trying to get up but bears not allowing it to do so. Still, I'd not be surprised if we start seeing Vegeta's 9000 scouter again within the next 24 hours, even though its a week-end.

I predicted this one quite well. Yesterday's buying force at $8600 was amazing...

*I'm sorry if it falls below $9000 by the time you see this!*

Anyone who uses tumblers is an idiot - you probably get worse than what you started with.

now I'm in the woods, the SMA 200 is not the 200 day moving average  Huh

there is very much something funky with how some of the charting sites display moving averages, cryptowatch is particularly bad

I went to r/BTC today to check the vibe. Place is a graveyard man.  Most of the posts on the front page have less than 50 upvotes.

I haven’t seen any crowd shots at the bcash lol convention but what I have seen looks like 20 people there.

It seemed like the "Satoshi's Vision" conference was going to be a productive event (for bcash), and would attract some good PR.
Instead it's just been a comedy goldmine.

Is the volume unusually low even for a weekend, or is it just me?

It's a death cross breath holding exercise.  A game of chicken.  Place your bets.  Or.... hold.

Just what I suspect/smell/am talking about (after taking it out of my ass, admittedly).

The situation appears static, calm before the storm. No more bets for me ATM, I'm set up until things move from here.

If I were a whale or a large shark, I'd pick exactly a moment like this to try and tweak the price.

Maybe I'm growing too paranoid? I feel pleasantly detached.

The next 48-72 hours may be critical even if we don't realize it yet.

Not only irony, but they keep talking about Bitcoin. Like they don't care, but they really really do care. They don't even give BCash as much discussion compared to how much they talk about Bitcoin.

If they really thought that BCash would win the future, they'd never be talking about or mentioning Bitcoin again. It would be in their rearview.
