On a quick skim, privacy comes up twice in that article. 'Blacklisting' is for people who don't understand opsec, aka monero shills. Don't believe everything your centralised shitcoin figureheads tell you.

I was banned from Coinbase for possessing, sending, or receiving blacklisted coins. How's that for Monero propaganda?

Basically I'm thinking I don't know what I was thinking not selling at $19k or at $14k. I totally capitulated in spirit around $7900. We're now a thousand below that and I'm thinking, what will I be thinking in another 3 months. Huh

Hindsight is a bitch, and most of us are probably in the same boat. As long as you believe in Bitcoin, it will all work out.

I didn't realize he was talking about Monero as he said shitcoins and I did just state cryptonote so as not to mention any coin in particular. Wink
I also thought BTC Maximalists were pretty much up on Monero's qualities as the more intelligent of them have been hedging with it, my bad.

Pure degenitard gambling. I knew what I was doing.

I far too often resemble that remark. Smiley

the funny thing is I sold most of my crypto on the way up around 7k. Lol

But gambled it away at the casino so in hindsight... Cheesy

Gemini banned BayAreaCoins and never even gave him a reason why.

I received a brief email this afternoon (1 day after updating bank wire information.)

"Good Afternoon,

Our Compliance team has reviewed your account and regret to inform you that your account will be closed at this point in time.

Regards,

Gemini Customer Support"

My account and records were all then completely blocked... I'm not really sure what I need to do in order to give my accountant the information she needs in order to file my taxes.

I have no way of accessing my account history or anything else like that for taxes or any other reason it seems?

I've emailed Gemini and will update with what they have to say in regards to why and information remaining on the account.

Strange and scary.   Roll Eyes

Happy Good Friday!  RIP Jesus and my Gemini account  Lips sealed Grin

BTG went up a bit then down a bit on this
https://blog.coinbase.com/adding-support-for-bitcoin-forks-to-coinbase-c4bee020898c
more thrills to come, apparently
edit: a big coinbase-style nothing. a venture fund for institutions. not adding more coins mostly because of regulatory uncertainty - mildly interesting.

Too bad that I only keep a rather small amount on Coinbase, to tinker around with a little day trading. However, I guess every little satoshi that I can eke out is better than nothing. I suspect that the vast majority of what I will get out of Coinbase will end up being dust.

Ok motherfuckers.  We are at the bottom or close to it.

Sell pressure will ease after April 17 (US tax payment day) and Bitcoin will bounce.

We may wobble a bit between here and there but I doubt we will get as low as $5k in the next 12 days.
