It’s an interesting chart.  But the wallet is now empty and the last move was 1 March.  So it seems any influence that wallet could have is now gone

Given the size I wonder if it is an exchange cold wallet and those coins have now all gone to strong hands.  

I am kind of with you Hairy, but March 1 is not that long ago, and all 60k coins put on one exchange, perhaps?  Would have to be a real liquid exchange to absorb that many coins with hardly a blip downwards in the BTC price.

We cannot completely rule out that those coins have not been traded yet, or only a fraction of them have been traded, so far.

It would be great if those coins had already got absorbed by the market, but what are the chances?  50% at best?

All the pumps in 2015-2017 literally match up exactly with when this wallet bought.
All the dumps through key support have lagged this Wallets moves.

Ok let me just sum up some data here:

This is totally possible, the exchange is now putting money into several different wallets because quadriga incident.

It's not likely since he had all this btc since the top and couldve just shorted while dumping anywhere between 15k and now. Maybe he did that at the 6k drop, doing the same thing now at the bottom? Its a dumb move.

I find this more likely, since he hasnt done much since ath and since he is very invested in crypto he probably sees this is the bottom and we're nearing the halvening so he will go long which will also appreciate his existing bitcoin and crypto stack (he probably has more than just btc). Thats what i'd do.

All he has to do is dump it 100-200$ lower than the MA200, and wait for it to dump even further before snatching it up again. If I had the stack for it, I'd do that right now, catch all you bulls unawares.

This might be the safest play :

just tether up for a couple of days. if nothing happens, cool just buy your usual shit back. if it dumps, you just increased your stack by 10-30%

It may well be that he/they have just transferred it out for safety/peace of mind reasons?
Just because coins are moving from one address to another doesn’t mean that there is going to be a dump does it?

But the emotional part of our brain doesn't know that. It still thinks that There Are Not Enough Bears in the Woods for All Those People. Even if half of them die hunting down those bears.

Everything in psychology is a spectrum. Thus I propose that what we call the survival instinct is as well. In effect, what we are left with through a variety of psychological devices brought about by certain environmental cues, is a sort of collective "death drive".


I'm fine with this. I have been studying this shit for 8 years now, almost to the day, and a few days ago it all finally clicked. We actively want to thin the population. Not as a deliberate conscious choice on anyones part necessarily, but as an emergent property. Further, there is nothing that can be done about it except on the individual level for those few who understand what is happening. Thus there is no need to continue to stress myself out over trying to save the world. It can not be done. What can be done is use the knowledge of the underlying biological mechanics to my advantage in my life. So, move to somewhere sunny and cheap and watch things unfold. Act as appropriate depending on how things develop. And in the event that I end up with kids one day, use it to make them healthy and better than the previous three generations because god knows they need it, and my family is far from the worst I know.

Today, i'd like to ask you your thoughts on something i've been aware this morning.

Some people think following big wallet is pretty often annoncing huge dumps by its movements.

1. They simply moved it from non-segwit address to segwit addresses. If they wanted to dump, you can dump from non-segwit just as easily.

2. They still have 54K BCH sitting in the same address on bcash chain. Perhaps they are followers/adherents? Speculating on whether it could be Bitmain would not be completely impossibile.

Bitcoin Whale May Have Finished Selling After $230 Million Move

A bitcoin whale that has been accumulating 113,000 BTC ($440 million) since 2014 may have finished selling after ₿60,000 ($230 million) was moved at the end of last month, emptying the fourth biggest bitcoin wallet.

The address in question was largely buying throughout much of 2017, but turned to selling last year and now may have finally sold everything.
