Could the first of us here to go to the moon or mars please bring back some rock samples for me?
Or even better, alien artifacts if you should find any.

New discovery today, you peeps ever try or hear of lolli?
They give free bitcoin rewards for money I'd have spent anyway by completing purchases through their affiliate links.
They look new but fairly well represented. Today I got 3.5% back for a purchase at booking.com, ya its legit.
I thought this would be interesting to the satoshi stackers out there.  I think this is so cool and another example of innovative steps forward towards adoption.

Using this link to register will reward my account https://lolli.com/ref/JhHPRKUMNM

Ok, so I signed up, where and when do I give them my BTC address?

Tether gone nuts... So many USDT printings in the last 30 minutes. Expecting a move soon!

https://twitter.com/BtcBlockBot/status/1115194884699324416

Why am I up at this ungodly hour ? Back to sleep with me.

I have been in bitcoin since a fair amount of time now.
But it still amazes me: this guy moved 36 MIOS USD spending 23.07 USD.
How much would it cost to move such amount of money with traditional banking system?
No to think about moving this amount in GOLD (this is why Bitcoin, digital gold, is actually BETTER than physical gold).

Bull fucking shit, when you transfer large amounts especially internationally they start going off a percentage.

No one is handling 30,000,000 for free.

I never did a 30,000,000 transfer , but i can guarantee it is not free.
For sure a money transfer outside the banking zone (EU/US for example) is not free, for sure. Not to mention more exotic destinations.

Internationally yes. Nationally, possibly no. Worst case where I'm at you have to revert to an older system for large sums which is about $35. But for those amounts internationally you're going to be able to negotiate rates, not get hit with the dunderhead retail rate.

TOP 5 COUNTRIES WHERE GOOGLE SEARCHES FOR BITCOIN JUST TRIPLED

https://bitcoinist.com/top-5-countries-where-google-searches-for-bitcoin-just-tripled/

1. Nigeria
Quote
Venezuela, Turkey, Kenya, and Nigeria have all started to become aware of ways to shield their wealth from devaluation by buying Bitcoin.
It may be volatile, but even a drop of over 80 percent in a year is nothing compared to Venezuela’s 95 percent in 24 hours or Nigeria’s unpredictable sudden drops.

2. Netherlands
Quote
There are countless events and meetups scheduled about blockchain for developers, investors, and the general public alike.
Brock Pierce was all over the news for buying a $1.2 million mansion in Amsterdam in bitcoin.

3. South Africa
Quote
the Crypto Assets Group formed by the SARB aims to implement stricter KYC/AML requirements this month, perhaps its citizens are also searching to find out the fate of bitcoin in their land.

4. Austria
Quote
With the Austria Blockchain Summit in full swing last week attracting speakers, investors, and delegates from around the world, the conference put Vienna on the map.

5. Switzerland
Quote
There are Bitcoin ATMs in this tiny land, Zurich’s luxury hotel the Dolder Grand just announced that it will take Bitcoin payments and, of course, Switzerland is home to the famous Crypto valley.
Switzerland’s own ‘Amazon’ Digitec-Galaxus also began accepting Bitcoin for payments last month.

Yes, I was thinking about an international money transfer.
National (i.e. within banking union like SEPA) money transfer are free.
Remeber anyway just holding USD 30,000,000 in a bank is going to cost you massive amounts of money.
In some country this charge would be explicit (Switzerland charges you money to keep it in banks over a certain amount).
In some other country it would be hidden in some other costs ( taxes, hidden charges, etc.)

It’s also the most disruptive and effective protest you’ll ever take part in too.

BITCOIN PRICE SURGE SEES VENEZUELA HIT RECORD LOCALBITCOINS HIGHS

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-price-surge-sees-venezuela-hit-record-localbitcoins-highs/

"Data from monitoring resource Coin Dance, which tracks volumes on P2P Bitcoin exchanges Localbitcoins, Paxful and Bisq, confirmed South America in particular saw huge amounts of fiat currency change hands during the seven days ending April 6.

Having steadily increased over the past year, volumes for Localbitcoins in Venezuela led the way last week. In total, 26.4 billion sovereign bolivars (VES) went through the platform.
...

Economic woes are not confined to Venezuela, with Argentina and Colombia likewise seeing increased Bitcoin interest as its own difficulties persist.

Last week, just after investor and Bitcoin bull Tim Draper met the country’s president and even made a Bitcoin bet with him, ordinary Argentinians put more pesos through Localbitcoins than ever before – in total, 10.7 million ARS ($243,000).
...
A more unexpected result came in from across the world in Kazakhstan meanwhile, where Localbitcoins had its most successful week ever. In total through April 6, users just beat the all-time record in Tenge (KZT), with 38.8 million ($102,000) being exchanged."

Time is what people should focus on. I've heard of international transfers taking 10 days or more to more obscure parts of the world. In this day and age that's positively medieval.
