Getting a ticket turned out to be more difficult than usual. First one was suddenly not available in mid-order process. Second one raised the price to over $3000 all of a sudden. 3rd one finally worked, on my way home tomorrow. Really looking like it's getting close to the last call.

Well, yeah.. that is how roach started out... making a smart move to sell at $700, then just got increasingly more and moar bitter...

Another honest feeling: I feel like I am starting to look like roach by the time passes.  Grin

I would be a full-time gold freak when btc recovers from here and makes another ATH.  Grin

I am starting to change guys. Help me out.

mindrust, invest a part that allows you to sleep peacefully, while you do not get it, better forget about Bitcoin, I tell you with all respect.

We have all made a mistake at some point, mainly those of us who invested late in Bitcoin. You will know that you are ready when falls do not affect you.

Take care.

Look at the bright side:
you will save a lot of cash.
more money for corn!

Mills gritt is paused.
My advice: do some planking
To maintain your strength.

May someone go on?
And then somebody else, too?
For endless haiku.

Very skeptical about today.
Of course I did not sell shit, only wished I could buy moar.
It was rekt day for longs and shorts, and exchanges obviously also bid over each other, resulting in this bloodbath.

IMO, this was needed for:

- Stocking up ammo for the real bull run, due next year.
- Demolishing potential investors confidence, prior to the halving.
- Keeping the price low, so that miners would not capitulate.
- Sell the story with the MSM outbreak.
- Paint the floor for the epic new ATH @$70k-$210k.

I realize now, that not everybody is meant to get filthy rich. You have to be willing to loose it all first.

Vegeta by the end of the month bitches!

No, both are up because they got severely dumped yesterday. I don't REALLY know if this is just a dead cat bounce, but a bottom is bottom... At least, until it isn't.

... You have to be willing to loose it all first.

Well said.

Since Bitcoin markets have no nanny holding their hands, the lows can be extreme lows but the subsequent highs can also be extreme highs.

It will probably be a dull next 6 months while the market basically drifts sideways before we see action again.

Note that despite FED employing up to 1.5 tril, bonds yields are creeping UP (and price declines).
10 year already more than tripled in yield from 0.31 to 0.96%, 30 year from below 1% to 1.577%
The 38 year bull market in bonds is most likely OVER. Think about it.

oh wow, mindrust capitulated at 4k? o.O

I mean sure, maybe he might be able to buy cheaper soon.

If a global recession hit, people will do a run on liquidity - just compare it with 2008/9: Metals took a big hit too before starting a bull run, so BTC dumping here is not the end of the world.

Though it is a bit worrysome how overleveraged the space is, which you could see perfectly by bitmex turning down the platform to stop the liquidation cascade and the interconnected dumping on spot markets.

Good to revisit the basics every once in awhile...

Quote
What should you do during a bear market? If you had a long-term investment strategy in place before the markets took a dive, it's time to revisit your plan. Are your goals still the same? Is your retirement still years in the future? If the particulars of your situation haven't changed, this is no time to change your overall investment strategy.

I have jumped in with both of my feet. I told myself if I ever had an opportunity under 5k I would make sure I have an entire bitcoin. Last of my money for non essentials in and now have about 1.1 bitcoin.
I have 2 alt coins but they are worth less than 500 dollars in total. 6 months after the reward reduction I will just extract 2k dollars for the new opportunities fund. I am expecting this will result in still holding an entire bitcoin which I will hodl for my retirement fund or if it reaches the 500k USD level before I may extract 100k and use it to buy 50k gold and 50k silver.

The thing I really like about bitcoin is that they can will stick to 21 million.  I am no longer worried about my fiat savings eroding now they are invested in other assets. These are high risk to some, but I view the risk to reward far easier to sleep with than the sure loss with no possible upside of accumulating fiat.

I will be watching this thread again because some members predictions had helped me increase my small bitcoin holdings by weaving in and out. I won't sell even .1 before 20k. This I believe will be in around 8 months.
