I'll tell you one more thing. Regardless of my decision about going all back in or not. (I'll probably do it when I feel it is the right time but I am also probably not going to invest like $50k this time, $10k is more likely)

Most bitcoins were mined when their price was below 50 bucks. There are millions of them.

Do you understand what means?

It means this whole thing can go to zero and halvening don't really mean shit. There is no bottom. No TA.

One of the reason I was so freaked out when I read there were coins moved to exchanges after 10 foookin years. 10 fookin years.

They can afford to sell it below $1k.
That's the wonderful thing about a free market. Anyone is free to do what they want with their property without having to ask for permission from meddling busybodies.

Now the lowest is 4400, how much next?

No floor here really.  For all assets, the panic selling, raising cash at all costs is only at the beginning.

Ignore the price.
Strange to be bored

that was me.  As my plan was to deplete all fiat last year and this one rely on slow selling corn as needed.

Now i´m out of cash, and i have to sell to pay the monthly bills. Bye bye stash

I’m fine for living money etc, I’m just a bit deflated at seeing the price & what it’s done to my net worth.
Luckily China are shipping again so my business is back up & running to full capacity but one thing goes well & then bitcoin goes to shit.

Sad

Yeah, and I can predict this:

In 1 week: $1,000 - $10,000
In 1 month: $500 - $20,000
In 1 year: $200 - $50,000
In 3 years: $100 - $100,000

...and I can almost guarantee that I'm going to be right! Does this make me a good BTC/USD price predictor? Absolutely not!

The wider the prediction range, the more it means that the "predictor" is using a crystal ball and hasn't got a fucking clue what he's talking about...

BTC is going to do what BTC is going to do. But we have the (extremely important) added advantage of knowing how it works and what it means (the ones that understand it, at least). This alone tells me that its value will rise to stratospheric levels, and in a time frame that will allow me to enjoy the privileges of owning a tiny little piece of it.

That's the best prediction I can make, and it keeps me from panicking and losing my sleep. In fact, since I started owning BTC, my sleep and other RL activities have improved tremendously. If I'm right (as I believe I am), then all the better for all of us. If I'm not, it's still OK, I'll survive this life, which is already treating me very kindly due to my own decisions and life strategies.

BTC won't rescue anyone from their own misery, self pity and incompetence. But it can make one realise his/her dreams. That's my bet.

This is fine.

HoDL.

Read the earlier paragraph.

Most of them has effectively zero cost of mining.

Latecomers only sell because they panic (like me), it is the early adopters taking a dump on us.

We are betrayed.

The choice between liquidation and half of my coins was hard too. But don't worry friend. We will use the low price to get our coins back!

Most of my stash is from 2011-2012, and I'm not selling at 4 digits. High 5 digits or nothing.

Regardless of all the emotional whining, last time I checked there is still no decentralised permissionless digital currency out there with the same potential and standing as Bitcoin. So it’s buying Bitcoin at (still) cheap prices to me, although the time frames may have shifted.

I can wait...

"The Spanish Flu of 1918, benchmark for global killer pandemics, infected just 1/3 of the US population. H1N1 infected 20%.

We are now seeing mortality models from "experts" using a 70-80% US infection baseline.

That, my friends, is #FearPorn bullsh*t."

OK, I gave in. Just sent £8,000 to Coinbase & bought.

I obviously have a good sized corn stash but I now literally only have £2,000 worth of fiat in my entire list of banks & savings.

Effectively I am all in.

(Feeling guilty - the 2BTC were £7,700 combined so I had £300 left. I bought Litecoin with the £300 Cheesy Grin)

I started at $2.4k in 2017.
I'm not gonna sell below that. If ever.

EDIT: I mean i will not sell above $2.4k while going down, too.

Betrayal by btc eeeeuhm why?

Ummmm really?

Because maybe BTC is supposed to pump upon massive fiat money printing and stock market crashes, and not dump like it has done....

This is the opposite of what BTC is supposed to do in times like these, and the only reason I can see is that institutional investors are dumping BTC to create liquidity..
