Guessing this may have had a correlation with the pump.

Have lighter fluid in hand because we'll be roasting the rest of them pretty soon.

Hodl Bitcoin...

Imagine not owning #gold, #silver, and/or #bitcoin over the next 3-5 years given the amount of money supply increase, along with yield curve control and debt monetization, that is very likely to happen throughout the 2020's.

Difference though is there is no inflation. Well there is for some stuff, but not for many other things.

Unless the trade war really leads to reshoring, then maybe there will be inflation for everything, and interest rates could rise.

^ In this case it was common sense to comply with the orders. I am not even sure it really is illegitimate during a state of alarm. Putting yourself in unnecesary risk for not following a simple and not really harming order would be against all common sense.

If it really was illegitimate then complain/sue later (fight back).

The 'order' was clearly illegitimate. If not from the bald text of the order instituting emergency measure (which it explicitly was anyhow), then by reference to the Constitution. Or even sanity fer chrissake.

I'm not defending the cops inaction when he was clearly sick. I'm defending the cops actions before that, when they were simply trying to arrest a money forger.

Kneeling on a clearly incapacitated person's neck for eight minutes after being completely subdued is not 'simply trying to arrest a money forger'.

I have always dreamed of being in a gang. For too long my chicken legs, concave chest, fevered panting and micropenis have been the subject of persecution. Now the boot is on the other foot and it's time to round on someone else.

Kill, lash out, stomp, maim, disfigure.

GET HIM.

I'll be hiding round the corner if you need me.

Well...you could always sign up to work for these guys, I hear they pay well and are swamped with work right now:

Maybe that's why Satoshi thought it might be best to disappear?

By the way:  Maybe we will get lucky and "never" see 4 digits, again...   of course, currently, I have my doubts,  yet I was pondering that maybe there could be a battle that keeps a fight at $10k, but $10k hereafter starts to serve as support , rather than as resistance.

That seems possible.  AmiNOTrite?

Once you have convinced yourself the movement is fake, then there is no longer any need to deal with underlying causes such as systemic racism, low wages and police brutality.

Actually you're wrong, Hairy. I do believe some of the protesters are well intentioned. And I do believe that there is systemic racism, low wages, and police brutality.

But do you think that mass rioting, picking fights with cops, looting (blatant stealing), smashing windows, overturning and burning cars, and burning buildings to the ground is actually the right way to go about addressing it?

That it's all going to work great, and the state is going to just throw in the towel, stand down the cops and the military, and wave the white flag?

Actually the exact OPPOSITE is going to happen. It's only going to make matters worse, not better.

Peaceful non-violent protest, respect for your city, and respect for your fellow man (no matter what race or class) is the only way to go on this. Anyone who believes otherwise is a fool.

I think the President just ordered the gassing of peaceful non-violent protesters 2 blocks from the White House so he could go and stand in front of a church with a bible.

Quote
In a massive show of force, federal law enforcement officers fired rubber bullets and tear gas at peaceful protesters outside the White House on Monday evening as President Trump appeared in the Rose Garden to announce the mobilization of “thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers” to quell “lawlessness” across the country.

Hundreds of protesters were pushed away from Lafayette Square, where they were protesting the killing of George Floyd, by the National Guard, U.S. Park Police and Secret Service. The ambush began half an hour before the city’s newly imposed curfew of 7 p.m. went into effect. When the crowds were cleared, the president walked through the park to visit the historic St. John’s Episcopal Church, which had been set on fire Sunday.

Hm. Interesting.

Right. Like the peaceful, non-violent protesters who burned the church down.
Also, Source: Washington Post. That might as well have been a DNC press release.
