And Bloomberg doesn't seem to be saying a peep about it.

but..but..but bitcoin is sent by god! and it solves all the financial problems and defeats all the evil banksters that have been (probably) sent by Lucifer himself. All the bitcoin enthusiasts are not interested in getting rich at the expense of others! all the people in the bitcoin comunity are highly educated benevolent economistz who bring freedomz to da people.

The biggest market mover is the people who thought they had bitcoins in Mt.Gox. When they replace (which I believe is going on), the price can rise a lot. We are talking about 100,000s of coins of extra demand.
This is why you can rest assured there is no 21 million Bitcoin cap on BTC. People buy; the coins get stolen from them and dumped in the market for the victims to rebuy ad infinitum.

Jesus, you guys talk about BTC in amounts I can only dream of Ofcourse it would be much more profitable with 60btc than with 12.. Guess I'll just have to wait till BTC hits $2000 I started with 17 coins in april 2013 Just seen the potential of BTC too late. I Invested 60k now. So Almost all I got If you started with 17 BTC in April, and then you invested an additional 60k at $700 per BTC, that would put you at 103 BTC. That is 17 + 86 = 103 BTC. I feel so small potatoes with only 36 BTC

Anyone else think that maybe SR2 and Gox were somehow tied together, and when SR2 announced that their coins had been stolen, it was only because they had inside information that Gox had 'lost' all of their coins? So when Gox went down, SR2 did too? Seems a little fishy that they would both claim theft by malleability at roughly the same time, but it didn't affect anyone else. Maybe MK owned them both.

Wait, that does not say Bloomberg is going to show Bitcoin prices, only that they will show an interview with Antonopoulos (is that him?)

Or when Gox announced - "We are not involved with Silk Road...."

Yeah, coins finally arrived at BTC-E.. now to wait for the pre-pump that happens before the news, so I can sell before everyone discovers that the "important news" is just to endorse their own service. LTC pumps seem weak and a slow drop is currently more probable. It's scary to hold fiat at BTC-E tho.. have to wait for an quiet night to sneak back to stamp.

People depositing to BTC-E. When will you learn.
Depositing in bitcoin seems to work pretty well, and pretty quickly... Though, yes, that seems to be a different story.

But then, what is "honorable" about bitcoin?
The honorable thing is to allow yourself and others to have sound money. You, on the other hand, prefer to stay uninformed and shamelessly perpetuate your desinformation. It feels safer to go with the thugs, I guess.
