You cannot really stop the deletion of posts in self-moderated threads - part of the reason that I mostly do not participate in self-moderated threads (outside of the wall observer) - unless i have some confidence in OP... However, once any of my posts get deleted in a self-moderated thread, I discontinue participating (outside of the wall observer, again).

Another thing is that if some kind of relationship that I have on the interwebs starts to go down the path of interpersonal squabbles, I try NOT to take those matters personally or to get emotional about such interactions.

Of course, if we are human, there is going to be some emotionality, but there still are best practices to keep the emotion out of such interactions - and sure some members are going to build more and more reputation - even if you do not believe in such... so in the end, you would need to consider the extent that it is to your advantage to be engaging in battles with those members... sure call them out from time to time... I am not opposed to that.; but there still should be some balance in terms of whether you are  allowing these interactions to cause you to get worked up or distracted.

By the way, I probably did not really want to hear about some of these details (even though I asked), but I also have a kind of preference that if you mention anything at all then you should provide some evidence (maybe not nullius levels of evidence but some reasonable level of evidence) to back up what you have said... so at least the reader gets the reference.
I already gave up on that self moderated thread and also gave up on the thread I created yesterday so yes I am too not bothered to have talk back and forth to a self moderated thread (except in WO) if I do not get the respect I feel I deserve.

What details you are asking, the number of unnecessary PMs he used to sent before to build up a good connection? I think since I am not bothered anymore so it's not necessary however here are some snapshots

These are from my inbox list.

Not sure if this has been posted already, but it's a really nice deep dive into Bitcoin and its anti-fragile nature:

Good morning fellow bitcorners.

Observing BTC finding that $19k number again.  Seems to be the badgers new favorite number.

So sideways it is. hmm

 July 1 2020. price 11,817
Aug 31 2020 price  11,923

a 60  day bart

we then tanked about 15% to 10,160 on sept 2020 then slowly moved upwards 45 days to oct 16 2020 then took off

would be nice to see a 60 day bart nov 30 to Jan 29 at the 19000 range.

then a dump then a strong move up

if I do not get the respect I feel I deserve.

BGC.... I have no problem with you posting whatever evidence, logic or conclusions that you believe supports various points that you want to make in regards to the rdbase topic or any other topic; however, something seems a bit off with your thinkenings if you believe that you "deserve" any respect on the interwebs.

It is just a bad way of thinking, and the more that you demand or desire or expect respect, the likely less that you will either get or peeps going to challenge those kinds of expectations... that's part of the reason to detach from those kinds of expectations when it comes to the interwebs in my humble bumble thinkenings.

Ultimately, you do what you want.. I am just stating my opinion.. whether such opinion is worth anything or no.

Oh noes!!!

Now the opposite is likely to happen..

Fuck!!

In case you did not know, it's not like Ron Paul has a lot of clout in status quo governmental or financial circles.

I hope so.

Grayscale is starting to feel like quite a large single point of failure

One or multiple ETFs will take care of this.
The only potential problem is that rapidly growing Grayscale would lobby against such ETFs.
I have a feeling that they were (at least partially) behind the pushback on ETFs.

BTC just sitting there, chilled AF @ $19,000. Low volatility, being here just feels natural, no plebs FOMO’ing in. This bull run hasn’t even started properly yet. We’re hitting 6 digits next year, I’m certain of it.

They are not the only one.  We have multiple single poi.. oh nevermind.

But Chamath own a Satoshi amount of bitcoin, and therefore is rooting for the global collapse we are in the middle of.  He's another one of those seingle points.

As are a few of us here. Wink

I, for one, hope to have a whole bitcoin before the end of next year.

No need to protect Bitcoin from anyone. Fiat needs protection (and big fucking printers), not Bitcoin. See, Bitcoin's code is its protection (math & science). No points of failure found so far. Every time I hear someone saying "this could be bad for Bitcoin", I say "bring it on!"

Where is jbreher? proudhon? r0ach? kwukduck? And where the fugg is mindrust?

We’re hitting 6 digits next year, I’m certain of it.

Well, I'd bet on it with you, but we're on the same side...

Why didn't you buy a whole one for $14 on July 23, 2011 when you registered here? Did a bear put you off?
