...

I, for one, hope to have a whole bitcoin before the end of next year.

Why didn't you buy a whole one for $14 on July 23, 2011 when you registered here? Did a bear put you off?

I do suppose I really should have bought some along the way...  Hindsight is 20/20.

such a shame to lose all the bitcoins we never bought, kept on mtgox and Quadriga, paid butterfly labs, squandered on Silk Road, trusted pirate@40, invested in one-coin and put the rest on the bcash fork and grin. and all that before the boating accidents became a thing.

Ya know admittedly even though I post a lot of shit in here that maybe rubs some bros the wrong way,
I want to emphasize it's nothing personal. It's quite obvious that folks in the wob have different worldviews and ideologies.
I mean my neighbor, who I get along with famously is on the opposite end of my ideology.
It doesn't matter. We enjoy each other's company and help each other out (and don't discuss politics lol) We are neighbors.
In the same sense all you guys regardless of your beliefs, we are all neighbors on this thread and have a commonality called bitcoin.
And at the end of the day that's what counts.

GO BITCOIN!!!

(I've been drinking again...can you tell?)

as long as it is bitcoinlandia, neighbors are great. what I cannot stand are the shitcoin morons claiming "we are all in the same boat" they call crypto/blockchain. as if cargo cultists belong to some real aircraft fleet.

And where the fugg is mindrust?

Mindrust is engaged in god's work out there in other parts of this here forum - posting about his hopenings regarding bitcoin's inevitable crashenings.

Sucks for us BTC HODLers - when such inevitable crash comes - especially for us who bought more coyns or HODL'd the vast majority of our coyns in the $4ks, $5ks and $6ks this past March.. rather than SODLd the majority and refused to buy back, except a fraction of our HODLings. ... also going to suck when we have to suffer in a crash from somewhere in $200ks to 350k back into the 5 digit realm.. when we were hopening for $1million.
 Cry Cry Cry

I have mixed feelings regarding this... I'm definitely happy mindrust is alive and well but on the other hand I'm a bit worried about him possibly turning into Roach v2.0.  Grin

He can blame only himself for the bad decisions. Many good advices from much more experienced holders were given to him, but he ignored them. He preferred to defend his rusty mind decisions (pun intended) with more seemingly profound reasons about tether fud, hodlers betrayal, etc. Then he invested 'cleverly' into USD claiming to make a good profit from one swing. He thought this will keep happening. After that USD/eur crashed by 15%, so I guess he is an usd bagholder now. Some people never learn from their mistakes. I can bet he will buy again at some Bitcoin 'crashes' in his eyes, only to sell again at or below his main investment price again.

Got plenty of time,
To make my poetry shine,
In haikus that rhyme.

A rich man once said,
"Make money while you're in bed."
Bitcoin's what he meant.

Some bought it real cheap,
Others bought the fucking dip,
And HeDL strong through shit.

It saddened me though,
That mindrust SoDL like a ho...
"Don't know nuttin' bro?"

My advice to you,
Be helpful and nice and cool.
mindrust was a fool.

See, in these here parts,
We chew gum and kick bad ass,
While observing charts.

In closing I'd say,
Thank you El Dude, thank you Jay.
Have a great Sunday!

The most frightening part is that we know they can't stop.

All this money is just a digital paper bag, plugging a black hole becoming larger somewhere in the financial system. It could continue so for a long time like this.

At some point though, people will catch on and smell a fire.

Trust in a currency can fade fast. Especially in a 24/7 fully digitally connected world  Roll Eyes

My Christmas present for myself is now in the mail.
This is how it turned out (It's a hitch cover).

Live version

US version

Maybe I should also explain what it is, it's a landmine, in the US called claymore mine, it's used in various versions by basically all military on the globe.
