I don’t have a lot of coins so I really need $100k+ for it to matter in a life changing way..

I’m pretty comfy being poor though.. Have been poor all my life..
I am very self sufficient so I can do, enjoy, and have a lot while spending very little..
I don’t need as much $$ because I don’t need to hire everyone else to do things for me.. I can do most everything on my own..

My dream is to have a long vacation in a sailboat around the world..
I don’t need a massive expensive boat and can do all the maintenance work myself.. So like $50k for a boat buy/maintenance budget and basically money for food/expenses to last atleast a few years..
If god is kind he will smite me down in a hurricane before I run out of food money so I never have to go back to the rat race..

Frequently poor people (relatively speaking) will have systems that they are able to live on less, but even if you have figured out some of these system, like you seem to suggest, you don't want to end up overextending yourself because you go on some kind of an extravagance that you cannot afford... so as I recall, you are not exactly very old, so if you do not rush things, and you already know about bitcoin, just keep accumulating bitcoin and let the matter play out for another cycle or two before you go on some kind of premature spending spree.  No need to attempt to rush a possible transition from poor to rich by prematurely spending the value that could actually transition you out of poor boy status.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  You might thank me later.   Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

I'd even suggest eddie to try for hiring on a small boat as a sailor/seaman, if possible. this way he can set sails and additionally make money to invest into moar corn.
Then go for an own boat after the next bullrun (2025/26).

Talking about all ahead one third, have you heard that Elwars cruise ship Satoshi is getting scrapped?
They couldn't get insurance.

An idea ahead of its time, apparently.

Elwar is a likable guy, but I've never understood his obsession with seasteading. I guess that, when you become super-rich, something screws up in your head and you become obsessed with pointless, impossible tasks. Risto Pietila comes to mind. It's sad, really.

Trying to go against nature is a futile, pointless task, as is trying to go against the establishment without a feasible plan. Taking the law on your hands and setting up a seastead in the middle of the ocean is madness and delusion combined.

IMHO.

Hahahaha

AlcoHoDL said it better than me.

Evening boys, it appears the bull has woke up again & ready to rock & roll once more. I wonder what Christmas week will bring us?

$24,000 breached Smiley
$25,000 doesn’t look too far away!

I love it when I get up in the morning these days. The first thing I do is see the price of the bitcoin and then... I feel kinda high.

I’ve been checking the price as my first task pretty much every morning for nearly 7 years. It’s much more fun during a bull run obviously  Cool

BTC is almost like a full-time job for me. Who said hodlers don't deserve their gains?  Cool

I want to apology for my harsh words. We don't live in a CCP regime.

This covid crisis effects my mental health also it's hard sometimes staying rational.

Well I can understand you being stressed.
Any protesters against masks and shutdowns have a right to an opinion about a disease.

But Me my wife and seven of her relatives have had it.
I still have lingering effects from it. I need more medical treatment for the damage it did.
My wife still has lingering effects from it. She was hospitalized 2 times the pre insurance bills were higher than 111,111 usd for 2020 , thankfully we are well insured and have paid 3500 usd out of pocket vs 111,111+

One of my wife’s cousins was on a vent for 28 days. 3 others went to the hospital. All of us survived it.

we all live in NJ,NY,CT area which was hit first back in early 2020.

I don’t rant and rave, but some people still think it is fake. It is hard to realize that is true. Especially for me since I have seen what it does.

Back to BTC. sideways sidewinder still working some magic here.

23.5 + or - 1k. means another breakout if it continues past Christmas 🎄 I smell a brush past 30k in the dec 26-31 time slot.

And with the hard rules about living onboard - rules usually made and enforced by the captain, not the stakeholders, there's the sizable risk of imaginary freedom turning into perpetual obedience. The thing we were trying to run away from in the first place.

Yeah, on emotional level the idea felt like floating prison.

Basically, the opposite of freedom.

To me, the closest approximation of complete freedom = owning a huge plot of land, where I could walk anywhere, or drive, or ride horses, or whatever.

Living at sea = stuck at a tiny plot of artificial 'land'.

Everybody who has gone through the many ups & downs, the torture that bitcoin has put us through deserves this & what is coming.

I remember investing what was to me a lot of money in mid 2014 on bitcoin. At one point I was down 50% of my total investment. Now I don’t even know how many x in profit I am. I’d have to sit down & work it out again but it’s by orders of great magnitude.

Bitcoin has literally made my life & secured my future & if I have kids multiple generations futures too.

I picked a good year to come back to the wo.

Yes... exactamente!!!!  Welcome back ur lil selfie.   Kiss Kiss   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

We (the royal we of course) can attempt to whip you back into shape to try to cause you to realize (and accept - stubborn as you can be) that BTC price dynamics are inspired by MOAR than just BTC mining incentives.

I know this. But I will always show the mining angle first and foremost.

As that is my veiwpoint.

If you go back and look at my early posts this year.
Much was done and said about
big money coming from billionaires.

The top ten people in the world 🌎 could sink money into BTC and jack its price a lot.

I felt they would do this and while it may not be the top ten people doing it as I type it certainly is the top 1000 people sinking money into BTC.

It is why I picked this year to post much much more into wo thread 🧵.

So far so good.

Well, Well, Well this has been a good run, I wonder what is going to be this runs top, I am still feeling a top around 40k.

This is complete speculation, fully pulled out of my ass.

I hope you don't mean that $40k will be a blowoff top and we'll return to bear market?  Grin

I could live with a local top, weakhand billionaires dropping it to $30k in Q1/2022 and starting the corrected parabola to $100k+ finally in Q4/2022.

Depends what you mean by top.

I figure the 2020/2021 bull run tops out somewhere in the $300k-$400k range, but we'll probable have a few corrections along the way... maybe the first one around $30k.

Charging your Tesla using the Lightning Network. Shocked

I've developed a set of prototype payment modules that allow for electric car charging by making real time machine to machine micropayments over the bitcoin lightning network from the car to the wall charging unit.
