I welcome another market drop caused by covid. Last time this happened you could scoop up btc at around $3500, if you hodl it at current rates you're up what.. 1600% ish? Bring it on

I hate to say.

Perhaps $46k?  or maybe $52k?  or some other number?  It's difficult to get me excited about picking up BTC when I have more than enuff... but sure, I can relate to the fact that other peeps might feel good (or better) to pick up a few more BTC along the way...

Don't get me wrong.. I am buying on the way down.. and seems that my buy orders started executing in about the $61k price arena.. and sure they have been executing around every $1k DOWNity.. not exciting for me, but just a part of the process... and by the time we get up to either $61k or even $69k again, then I will have a wee bit MOAR sats than the first times that we were there.. and sure we have ONLY been to $69k once, so far.. ... but the odds seem pretty good that we are getting there again in the next 2 weeks to 4 months... and I would be somewhat surprised if $69k were to end up being our ATH for this calendar year... but I would not be shocked or flabbergasted as perhaps some peeps might be quite devastated by such a decently lovely number that might end up serving as a bouncing board for 2022.. perhaps?  or maybe not.. but still does not feel like a bad place to be for the year and does not feel as if we are going anywhere negative, even if some of the no coiners and bitcoin naysayers might be starting to make such proclamations.. which just seems to serve as a potentially great fuel for either a late 2021 or early 2022 reckening.. perhaps?  Maybe?  Maybe not?  how can any of us know with any level of certainties?

Last weekly candle was well in the red. So I think this is just people selling because they think the expected dump might go deeper because of the covid news. Any hopes of last weeks candle being a bear trap are gone. The dump goes on.

How convenient for the Fed that a new covid variant "suddenly appears" right before the month they talked about tightening?  

Money printer will never not go brrr. They just need an excuse for the public.

Yep, of the 100 variants over the last few months, they decided to use this one for their media attack dogs. They know they can't taper, infact, they know that they must keep increasing the brrrr. Just needed that excuse to save face.

I think they've already seen the early retail data coming out, and realize that hardly anyone is buying anything anymore, for Christmas or otherwise. They already know that this shopping season is going to be a bloodbath of red.

The whole world is deflating, and they know it. So this is all a smokescreen cover for a controlled demolition of the world economy. Mass layoffs, lockdowns, and firings (due to non-compliance with a certain mandate) is not just a byproduct of all this, they are actively seeking a shakeout of tens of millions of people from worldwide employment. They need small businesses to fail and close permanently. They NEED it to maintain big corp profitability and to get more cheap debt fuel from the Fed.

A quick look at the falling labor participation rate proves this. Jobs that are permanently lost and never coming back.

Sadly this is pretty much the only working explaination that makes sence anymore.

They are crashing the markets over a long weekend in the US when they are either closed to the public, or only open 3.5 hours and they intend to take as much out of Joe Public's savings as possible.

Occams razor.

We are visiting another country now, and I was able to get both IVM and HCQ in nice quantities (via (a cheap) doctor's Rx).  MUCH cheaper here than in the US "grey market", although the locals tell me that the prices for IVM and HCQ are much higher than a few months ago.

  Indeed the curbs were on their way in The Netherlands well before news of the mutation broke.
  That's not what I meant in my first sentence by pointing out that Coronavirus mutates. It is endlessly mutating.

  I can see why that would make people vaccine hesitant as over here in the UK you didn't get a say which one you got, and it's still mostly a lottery in that sense.
