Everyone spare yourselves from Matrix 4

Not gonna say more about it

I figured as much.
I remember catching the 2nd movie on my birthday at the cinema about 20 years ago.

It sucked, as did the 3rd movie I thought.

Wish they had done a Back to the future style approach and have multiple matrix programs so they could be set in different time periods  and maybe swap between them or something (yes I know about the line in the Matrix 1 that it was set in late 20th century for reasons but could just be forgotten in light for new possible adventures). I think that would have been the only way to go with things and provide enough material for sequels.

How Zion looked (like a literal hellhole!) is not what I imagined at all.
And machines having peace with humans made no sense either.

Well Humans produce the best results when they are Motivated, Happy and Safe. Thats what you guys do not get. To get 100% from a Person you need to make them happy so you can be happy with the best possible result that they can produce. Tyrannyical behavior from the A.I would only cause problems and therefore the Computer Core would have to think of a more drastic approach than to have Peace with Human Kind since Humans operate at 20% of their capability under Tyrannical rule.

I fundamentally disagree.

Humans provide terrible results when you make them happy and make them feel safe.

They won't even get out of bed half of the time!

Case in point: unsuccessful movie makers -> successful movies -> successful movie makers -> astonishingly terrible sequels.

Yes I also hate the Star Wars prequels! Awful garbage from George Lucas himself. The only really good movie I've seen Steven Spielberg (used to be a massive fan) do since Jurassic Park 1 & Schindler's List is his recent West Side Story and that was a bloody obvious remake!

1 Question for the Advanced minds:

If FIAT Currency crashes to 0 do you think Bitcoin is going to survive such an event?

I’m not sure the question even computes … if all fiat currency is literally worth zero, nothing, nada, zilch then I’m not sure civilisation would survive.  Not sure anyone would be worrying about keeping the internet running.  Maybe I’m wrong but I think most people would be focused on food, shelter, etc..

I was lucky I had one more roadblock to stop them.

I wonder if it is inside work with :

a guy at coinbase
a guy at tracfone
a guy at Verizon

set when coinbase account gets a bit higher say 10k or 20k or a higher level.

of course I now need to alter countless other shit

I would hope that coinbase have good ways to catch people doing bad things, they're dealing with billions after all. And billions that can be made difficult to trace...

I see they're valued at 53 billions $ with less than 2000 employees !

Meanwhile the company I work at is valued at 13 billion $ with 130 000 employees, and despite having just bought a competitor for 8 billions, that will add 70 000 more people.

About insider stuff, do we now know what happened with cryptopia ?

Yonko we are Coming !

Fiat crashing to 0 means fiat has been replaced by something else. Most probably crypto.

Otherwise, revert to gold and silver maybe, or other exchanges where the exchange value has intrinsinc value => back to bartering. Food for other food, food for services, work for food, etc.

I'm not sure I want to live in that world but I'm trying to be prepared for it, that's why I'm only looking at houses with 1 hectare plots or bigger, so that I can grow food if needed.

I think that everyone should ponder this question: why this cycle so far did not pan out as expected by almost EVERYBODY?
To some it might mean that the exponential boom-bust cycles are over.

To me it means that bitcoin is in transition: it has to go over the technological chasm from the early adopters to early majority.
The volatility in that is less than during "innovators" and "early adopters" stages, but still significant with periodic setbacks.

I am perfectly fine if the four year cycles are mostly gone and we are simply in a price discovery mode.
I expect the prices much higher eventually, but short term the price seems chaotic (does not really follow any prior predictions).
It zigs when it was "supposed" to zag, etc. This 'perversion' actually started in 2019, but most people dismissed it as a one-off aberration.

Remember "the fractal" idea? It fit for a while. All TA guys seem to be befuddled if not outright 'amused' by the current situation.
Albeit, we have no coherent theory of what to expect since S2F is currently on the brink...barely hugging the lower grey band.
planB did not throw in the towel yet, but it is getting close, unfortunately.

I like the way PlanB doubled down. And frankly, he has a ton brrrr-money on his side of the argument.

An EOY parabolic run was expected by the majority, so the market was inclined to go another direction.
Def. a sign that the known cycles start to change / vanish.

I think the next best chance of finding coherence with the previous cycles is the "spiral chart" with its delayed tops.

So the next 3-4 months might be interesting..

Edit:
Nice small candle. Let's see if it gets hammered down agin...

The problem I have with PlanB is he has a habit of moving the goalposts ...

I agree.

Now he's saying that as long as the price trudges along the "lower bound" aka $40-50K, it's still valid. But look at his chart, it could literally still do that and go sideways until mid-2024.

Which is what I've been saying all along. His $100K by Christmas 2021 scenario was never a certainty. But he did say that it was or else S2F invalid.

An EOY parabolic run was expected by the majority, so the market was inclined to go another direction.

Isn't this the trap that the n00bs fall into literally every bull run tho?

Can't wait to see LGBTatrix with all the brightly colored-hair agent trannies chasing Neo, the last straight white male in New York while Neil Patrick Harris fails at pretending to be a good actor... Im just waiting for Sheldon Cooper to appear in every other scene with background laughter soundtracks. Really not looking forward to having The Matrix ruined for me but what choice do I have? It's definitely doing to have some woke feminist nonsense in the storyline. Goddamn clown world.

Ok wasn't half bad.

No thanks.

It's a very informed and competent piece, written by a history professor.
All historians notoriously have a deep understanding of cryptography, game theory and networks.
The article even quotes well known bitcoin experts, such as prof. Stolfi.
