I just rubbed it in my local grocer's face that I no longer consider myself a lifetime Gold member of their establishment because [ .. ] they ignored my request to add Bitcoin.
There, I found another reason to be skeptic about the success of bitcoin: bitcoiners will shop at Walmart instead of at their local grocer, therefore they will eat less healthy food, therefore the genetic predisposition to believe in privately issued cryptocurrencies will soon be weeded out of mankind's gene pool by natural selection. I intend to buy at Walmart what I would have bought at local grocer (a large chain grocery, not a vegetable stand along the road). If Walmart doesn't have it I will get it at local grocer. My diet will stay approximately as unhealthy as it currently is. Bitcoin is making me exercise more, Jorge! I made a special trip to the grocer today to tell the manager in person that I was taking business elsewhere. I was friendly and told him I understood he wasn't in a position to make a corporate decision but he could pass it up the chain if he wanted. I must have gotten an extra 10 feet of walking in today! Not to mention the constant pacing back and forth when the price is dropping. I've never been in better shape! And just think of the pounds I've shed through my formerly thick hair falling out over the price drops. (...and I've already passed on all the genes I'm likely to pass...)

I have lot of fiat, don't particularly like this one unless it's breakout which I doubt it is yet.
The worst thing is that I bought few dozen BTC at 560s 2 days ago and then sold them at 550s last night thinking it's going down more, lol. Hate that shit. Hate btc vs usd.

The fact that we went down 8 straight days was enough for me to go almost all in before this bounce.

Just posting this for clarity - that particular paper is actually by someone called Zak Wilcox, not Greg Maxwell Oops, sorry, I did not notice that (it is linked in the Coindesk article as if it were by Greg). No problem, I thought the same thing when I saw it as well. I'm a bit too lazy to mention it to CoinDesk though
