Happening with me these days. Inflation I'm my country I'd at its ATH.

It's funny, I grew up with 10% ish inflation (70s and 80s) and nobody gave a shit, today the snowflakes get mental health problems from it.
People need to learn to accept that shit sometimes happen.

10% is bearable(provided its stretched over time), the country where I lived has inflation gone upto 35% and that too not over period of time but in less then one year. Defiantly things are getting tough and effecting people mental health.

This is just a pure coincidence. Russia is bad mmkay?!

Germany is begging everybody, and the USA in particular to sell them gas so they can survive the winter, The US has responded and now that is bad i your book?

The problem is to bring all that shitload to Europe. Talked to one guy who's into LNG logistics. He said if all LNG carrier vessels would leave for US right now (which is impossible long term contracts etc) and will start transporting LNG to Europe they'd manage to bring 20% of required LNG before winter season starts. So yeah. Fucked.  Grin

Was curious what masterluc (WO regulars know who I'm talking about) is saying regarding the market situation, TA and all. Barely found his new account on Telegram. So, basically the guy is bullish. He's expecting a retrace to $40k at least. Don't ask me how he figured that out I'm bad at TA. Rainbow graphs, crystal balls and stuff. Some insider info he shared was that Russia is developing crypto exchanges secretly owned by the government to avoid sanctions. Which is bullish too.  Cool

It's not that I trust him much (after the 2017 massive fail) but nice to know.  Grin

Oh yeah, they ar fucked alright, and they deserve a winters punishment for getting dependent on russian gas despite all the warnings from other countries.

Edit: and on top of that they are going to close two nuclear power plants at the end of year for political reasons. They truly deserve what they get.

USA LNG supply has gone high because EU is boycotting Russian gas. USA LNG rates are also high compared to Russian gas. There is energy crisis in EU and that's main reason why Euro has fallen to its lowest in 20 years against USD.

It's a good time to be an American traveling abroad.

The value of the U.S. dollar has been at its strongest in years relative to many major global currencies of late— meaning travelers can buy more overseas than in the recent past.

Things are not good for EU and Ukarine for sure but USA and Russia are relatively stable in this crisis.

Bullshit. Germany is buying Russian gas. Hungary, Italy, France... you name it... not sure about Poland and other extremely pro-US states though...  Cool

Bullshit. Germany is buying Russian gas. Hungary, Italy, France... you name it... not sure about Poland and other extremely pro-US states though...  Cool

"Nord Stream 1" gas pipeline (the largest gas pipeline from russia to EU) has resumed gas supply from Russia to EU on 21st July 2022 after it was closed for 10 days maintenence. The gas supply has been reduced to 40%.

Interesting thing is "Nord Stream 1" gas pipeline ran from Russia to Europe via Ukarine.

Gas supply to Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands and Poland, are completely stopped by Gazprom since they refused to pay roubles.

As you said there are counties that are still buying gas from Russia but the volume is definitely low compared to post war situation.

The European Commission says retail electricity prices for households in EU capitals were up by 44% in May 2022, compared to May 2021. The highest rises were in the Netherlands (up 167%), Austria (up 122%) and Italy (up 118%).

So yes there is a crisis in EU as well as in rest of the world.

Oh ffs, Nordstream runs on the bottom of the baltic sea, and that is to avoid going through Ukraine.
And Europe is not boycotting russian gas, lots of countries still buy that gas, just like serveria explained to you. And there is no crisis in EU, the crisis is in Germany.

Really, get your facts straight.

Don't understand why anyone could possibly think NORDstream would be in the middle or south of Europe!

The problem with a crisis in Germany and a possible economic contraction there + rising interest rates (Lagarde "They will rise till inflation is fixed") could be pretty bad for the likes of Italy which is completely up to its eyeballs in debt. Mario Draghi has smelled the coffee and is bailing.

The EU is definitely trying to make Germany's problem everyone's problem with this 15% save gas for a safe winter thing they just launched.

For easy month of the July Now Anlyists are pretty much sure about the Bottom as now the support of the 20k is too huge all this is due to a small Greenery in Market if thats ture that heavy 20k buying orders are still ongoing and BTC maintain the 20k power up support then bottom is already done.
