About 2 weeks ago, my wife said she wanted Bitcoin to drop at the start of the new year, so we pay less taxes. I added that it should go up again after that. So far, it looks like my wife gets her wish. Now do mine please

Then again it's a low 0.x percentage wealth tax and I really don't care about that (meaning, from my tax perspective, it can go up anytime).

Here's it's 2.1168% next year, based on your tally on the 1st of January. The Dutch Central Bank often advises not to invest in Bitcoin, but if you do, they take a larger cut each year.

@goldkingcoiner, have my last BTW we're bouncing off 93k, but the volume is so small that it looks like a fakeout. Oh, and acorns do suck big time. I'm glad I stocked up on ramen when we were above 100k. Not on eggs, unfortunately... I was able to even add some green onions at 105k ... those were the times Screw ramen. Less cooking required.

Wagyu is too fatty for me. I don't like the taste of the fat. I prefer organic fat free filet. Btw talked to a Japanese whose family produces Wagyu and he told me that these cows are actually really ill the moment they get slaughtered. Imagine having so much fat in your muscle tissue... your doctor would go crazy

Wow, that's quite a cut they take there... But then again, the Netherlands should be a good place for boating accidents with all the channels and shore

I’m sure a lot of it is end of the year portfolio window dressing. Taking profits or selling for tax reasons. The speculators who were leveraged and getting wrecked isn’t helping though. I too think it is odd to sell now given the flood of money that is coming next year, but the outlook is always brightest at the top so I can understand why traders would sell here. How much better can the outlook for Bitcoin be? Now we wait to see if the tidal wave of cash coming next year is bigger than expectations.

Wow, that's quite a cut they take there... Yep, their greed is increasing. But there's no capital gains tax on top of this, so that's something. But then again, the Netherlands should be a good place for boating accidents with all the channels and shore Lol. The problem with that is selling it later on.

This was my original question albeit long winded. While it might seem highly technical, both acorns and chestnuts come from trees in the beech family (Fagaceae) but acorns (which I believe are what you pictured at the market) come from trees in the genus Quercus while chestnuts come from trees in the genus Castanea. So, do you call all of these nuts chestnuts in Urdu language? If not, what term do you use for the nuts that philipma1957 posted? What philipma has posted is Chestnut. I did some research and figure out there are three similar fruits in Urdu related to Chestnut and acorns. Baloot - بلوط Shah Baloot - شاہ بلوط Juft Baloot - جفت بلوط I have seen few videos where herbal doctors are calling Shah Baloot as Chestnut while some are calling Shah Baloot as Acorn. I think I should meet someone in person to find out the difference. Google is not helping in this case.
