What a piece of shit is that pumped scam coin of trump, i hate it with all my heart, i hate this dmubshit degen coins and all the people involved in such a fraud, making only money in the air.

For worst when that shit explodes is gonna revival all the idiots who dont know nothing start again to compare that piece of shit with any other crypto including the BTC.

Relax.
In hindsight, did memecoin busts and scams hinder Bitcoin's marketcap rise? NO
Even if Trump makes a shitload of slowly (or sometimes less slowly) devaluing fiat money, together with some other whales, i don't think it will hurt Bitcoin either. The financial industry starts to grasp what Bitcoin really is, it doesn't matter much to its success when some individuals get hurt through busted scamcoin "investments", Bitcoin will continue on its path. We're human, we're doing hard to learn.
If you're not invested in shitcoins, why care about Trumpcoin? It doesn't matter to you then.
Just let it go, it's a "just-another-Dogecoin-event", close to meaningless, maybe not so much for the MSM, or invested people.

Rather ask yourself: Would you like to sit on fiat or on Bitcoin?  Wink

Another AlcoHoDL gem

That's what i saved my last merit for  Grin
Bitcoin has attained a peak stability and economic sustainability that cannot compete with any other memecoin. It has survive the test of time and has come to stay as the most viable commodity for a profitable investment. So there is nothing to worry about in the recent lunching of Trump coin that is making headline because of it's roaring market cap. It's just a political motivated memecoin that is put in place by Trump and his political cohorts for the purpose of their political and economic agenda which may not have a sgnificant future potentials.

Whether bitcoin fiat survives and thrives amid this ongoing calamity-I see maybe 50:50 chance at best.
I am talking about long term here, not immediately.
Are you serious, mate?  Grin Grin Grin Grin  FTFY

BTW, there would be NO bitcoin reserve...this much is clear.
Clear to whom? Definitely not me. Bitcoin already today is the best store of value in the whole white World!

Open your eyes and see what is happening rn (yesterday and today), then contemplate the consequences...ins and outs.

BTW, I am not questioning whether bitcoin is the best store of value or not as it certainly is right now...but it seems that almost everything is becoming chaotic.
Maybe this is how singularity actually looks like.

EDIT It seems that I read the market right for the moment-we went from 106 to 99.6 in a few hours-earlier than i thought, though, so we just might pop up a bit tomorrow, instead.

We are already popping up. Tall red candles indeed, but they have long down wicks. It might have been just the usual shake before an important move. I guess we'll know soon enough.

this shit will drop and burn through support levels like alien blood moments after inauguration. Oh.. guess the inauguration did just happen, and yeah its already down 8% since then -- its biggest drop yet.

written moments after the pico top, currently down almost 40% since then.

people have a god-given right to gamble on the dumbest horseshit known to man, that's incontrovertible. cockfights, youth league football, Melaniacoin, etc... that's not the problem. the problem is whether its a good idea for a world leader to be endorsing said horseshit, knowing full well its horseshit and that a lotta people are gonna lose money buying something with no inherent value whatsoever, created purely for gambling.

Trump empowering & encouraging shameless asshats to be their worst selves is the real problem.

New realpolitik:

https://www.wsj.com/world/in-a-new-age-of-empire-great-powers-aim-to-carve-up-the-planet-fef072f7

Quote
Today, these lofty principles look quaint, if not outright irrelevant, as the world returns to what was presumed to be the natural law of statecraft since the dawn of history: The strong do as they please and the weak suffer as they must.
... “We’re entering a new age of conquest,” said Sumantra Maitra, director of research at the American Ideas Institute, a conservative think tank in Washington, D.C. “Great powers are the ones calling the shots again. Some countries have realized it early, and some have not, but they will soon too.”

it is what it is...personally, i would rather we all be in it together.

Hahahhahaha

Nice one.

Although TRUMP is a meme coin, it has done in 2 days what Bitcoin did in 8 years. It took Bitcoin 8 years to reach a market cap of $72 billion, while TRUMP came close to it in just 2 days. Again, the gold mining company has grown 50% more than NEM and TRUMP has grown 40,000% since Friday. So it can be said without a doubt that TRUMP is the new digital gold. It will not die so soon.

You sound like a true shitcoiner with those kinds of lame-ass talking points.  You even seem to believe your level of dumb.

Think about the matter for a mere few minutes, and perhaps realize that there are all kinds of shitcoins that have all kinds of "market caps" in a short period of time... which sure may well relate to how much they are able to pump, but many times market cap reflects almost nothing about the extent to which there might be any fundamentals within any aspect of many of the various shitcoins and projects that are pumped in the "crypto" space from time to time.

Regarding the not dying?  who knows?  There are a lot of shitty coins, some of them zombies with absolutely no value, and others rise from  the dead from time to time, and others retain decently large market caps for years and years and years, long after they should have had died from their lack of any kind of meaningful fundamentals.. .. and likely so many of us feel a kind of sickness to merely respond to posts that pump shitcoin... for sure, many of us also know that shitcoins are not going away..

and surely it could be difficult to imagine someone like Trump not ongoingly fucking around with all kinds of distracting self-promotional matters that will likely contribute to chaos, entertainment and even some frustrations when we understand that some of the reality matters, that include how all kinds of normies are going to get distracted will also contribute towards both positive and negative price moves (and even some developments too) in bitcoin.  Many of us also recognize and appreciate that the tail does not wag the dog. .but we also may well recognize that the tail is part of the dog.. so it is not like we can cut it off, even though it can become a wee bit distracting especially when some members seem to get confused with their ability to differentiate between dogs and tails, and our king daddy doggie might even have several tails, so it seems..

FTFY

Btw nutildah.. .I thought that you loved shiny turds for a long, long, time.. hahahahahaha.... or you have not see a shiny turd that you didn't like?

Or am I mixing you up with someone else?

 Tongue

What a piece of shit is that pumped scam coin of trump, i hate it with all my heart, i hate this dmubshit degen coins and all the people involved in such a fraud, making only money in the air.

For worst when that shit explodes is gonna revival all the idiots who dont know nothing start again to compare that piece of shit with any other crypto including the BTC.
I’m not mad at it. I grabbed some, went to bed, woke up and sold. Made some extra money that I will waste in the most irresponsible fashion possible. It didn’t affect my Bitcoin strategy. People are free to launch or invest in whatever garbage they want. Solana seems to be the big winner…

One more day until we find out if Trump will bring a God candle or a sell the news event.

Here is a companion (aka Oggie-poggie) who seems to have not seen a shitcoin or other opportunity (perhaps? perhaps?) that he did not like.

What would this world be, without degens? It is not like we can cut off the tail of dee cute lil doggie.. especially if the tail is such a cute tail, perhaps even with a pink bow on it?

I think differently...this is the "beginning of the end", not the "end of the beginning" for "crypto".

Whether bitcoin survives and thrives amid this ongoing calamity-I see maybe 50:50 chance at best.
I am talking about long term here, not immediately.

Oh gawd Biodom.. After all these years in bitcoin, you still seem to be struggling... ..

Maybe you also should wonder with 50/50 odds regarding why some folks (royal perhaps?) in these here parts have labelled you as the king of whimpy.

In fact, I think that we would have a major civilizational change coming, and quickly.
This would depend on how the current situation develops and whether things would cool off a bit or not.
I can imagine many scenarios unfolding and it is difficult to predict the path fully.

Wow.. major civilization change.. I can't really mull too much on that level of macro "sophistication."

BTW, there would be NO bitcoin reserve...this much is clear.
Instead, maybe there would be some vague "crypto" construct, replacing the BSR concept.

You surely are getting ahead of yourself in terms of the possible text.... but hey, there is always a chance that you could end up being correct with your seemingly quantity of guru

Are there people here who believe I’m not one of the most bullish people on this forum for nearly 15 years now?

This statement is hilarious.

Surely there are dumb people in the forum who believe in "OgNasty," and apparently whatever OgNasty claims to be the case.

There is also a bit of seeming irony that a person with so much bitcoin insight (and all of these 15-ish years on the forum) has not figured out the value of an accumulate and HODL strategy (referring to bitcoin, not whatever shitcoin flavor you might currently be pondering).

that's it. I will be back when there is no more shitcoinery talk going on.

You are banning yourself then.

Hahahahaha

It is a bit strange that I lost you with my ongoing reference to lil doggie and tails.. .. and maybe I could either give you a hint or maybe I should just tell you?

The tail does not wag the dog, yet in this example the dog is not able to get the tail removed.. ... anyhow.. the dog is bitcoin, and you can infer the rest.. and sure, I will admit that it may not be completely the best of metaphors, even though from the context, you should have had been able to identify that goldkingcoiner was proclaiming his distaste for shitcoin talk.. and I am not unsympathetic to his concerns, yet at the same time, his requested outcome seems to be asking too much in regards to this imperfect world of ours, including many complications in many parts beyond merely these here parts (aka our lil bubble in another bubble.. and maybe goldkingcoiner is requesting/suggesting "special" bubble features that would be quite difficult, if not impossible to achieve?).
