Good news. Maybe Lummis will talk some sense into Dumpster's head regarding Bitcoin versus Crapto.

I am very proud of my state. It appears likely that Arizona will be the first state with a strategic Bitcoin reserve. That’s pretty cool. With nearly a dozen states set to follow, it would be hard to not be incredibly bullish right now. I’m sure many people are feeling the urge to sell at $100K, but stay strong. The tidal wave is coming.

I am guessing NJ will be a big fu when it come to that.

Nice that Arizona is now a progressive state (when it comes to BTC BSR)

Well New Jersey has those drones.  We don't have those.  Smiley

I hate seeing Arizona become more progressive, but Californians are fleeing like crazy (I'm one of them but had a 20 year head start) and settling in neighboring states, so everything is getting more progressive as a result.  On the plus side, I think the tide has turned and Trump is going to snap people out of the nonsense they've decided was normal for too long.

Well man...

It's not something ytou want for durability but instead of doing a QR with paper and a sharpie?  This is the nuts.

These are getting included in my "Oh shit daddy died... where is the corn he was always talking about?" packets.  Along with the paper.

Which leads me to another topic... if your backup strategy is too hard for your heirs...  well fuck.

Big win for the musky trumpeter.  Google now recognizes the Gulf of America 🇺🇸 on its maps.

I asked ChatGPT to tell me what is "true value" and gives me an interesting answer that "true value" has different meanings which depends on the context used:

If you wanted ChatGPT to chime in on our debate about wether all value is subjective or not, then you likely have to reformulate your question, and it could take several attempts before you might start to feel that ChatGBT is getting closer to the essence of being able to answer the question in a meaningful (rather than gobble-dee-gook and superficial) kind of way.

In this thread we were not really talking about true value, even though sure, true value (and intrinsic and objective value) were parts of the discussion, since largely Richy_T was proclaiming that the ONLY value is subjective value, so he is almost denying the existence of objective, intrinsic value and perhaps even suggesting that the concept of value in itself has no meaning unless it is tied back to subjective value.

Of course, he is also suggesting that I am a wee bit too unenlightened to understand my lack of insight into what is the crux of the matter, and I am not going to proclaim to be some kind of an expert beyond my own visceral reaction to his suggestion that "all value" is subjective...which comes off as a wee bit too much relativism woo woo from my own potentially naive perspective.

Reminds me of the classic young bull / old bull joke.

>>>>"A young bull and an old bull are at the top of a hill.

There are hundreds of cows grazing below. The young bull says, "Let's run down there and fuck a cow!"

The old bull says, "No, let's walk down and fuck them all."<<<<<<

https://www.reddit.com/r/Jokes/comments/1hrnja/a_young_bull_and_an_old_bull_are_at_the_top_of_a/

- a person is as young as they feel young.

That is a retarded assertion.  Of course, I have heard that kind of a statement plenty of times in my life.

To me, it sounds like what a young person would say.. and/or a retarded (out of touch) old person.

So I can have a new car every 3 years

That seems unnecessary.  If you buy a real nice car, it should last 10 years without any problems..and perhaps even seem somewhat modern.. even though sometimes new bells and whistles might be attractive  to get.

And, I thought that previously, you mentioned something about leasing too.

Anyone who wants a new car every 3 years is probably better off leasing rather than buying.. and so maybe that might work in terms of just always having a monthly car payment...but also being able to switch every 3-4 years.. unless the mileage limitation or other non-ownership matters might become a potential issue.

Happy birthday Phil! 68 years is still young! You have at least 3 decades ahead of you, so make sure you take good care of yourself and make good use of those coins!

Part of Phils problem seems to be that he is NOT able to hold onto whatever coins he gets.... .he seems to be blinded by dollars, shitcoins and he seems to be gullible in regards to the extent to which governments are not as able to control dee cornz as much as they purport to be able to, which causes me to wonder how much he even understands dee cornz.. and I also question if those kinds of seeming character flaws get any better with age.

And, of course, happy birthday Phil.... not intending to overly and gratuitously diss my elders more than necessary and/or warranted.

Quantum Comp has created/Mined Bljatcoin clone coins all 21 Mil Coins Instantaniously. Crypto is a thing of the past ! Why? Quantum can not be applyd to Crypto for protection and therefore a new system has to be created.

You think that guys holding dee cornz should sell all of our coins or most of them?

Probably he who sells first sells best.

You already sold, though, right?  Or you failed to buy, right?

So you don't have our current dilemma, and you might not be very good to advise on this topic since you don't gots no coins.

Yes.  I have decided.

I will give most of my corn to my progeny.  And they will do whatever they decide.  One I know will hoard them.... and likely pass most down.  But in the end they will find their way into the stronger hands...  And those will not all be of family cAPSLOCK.  Because those that spend them will spend them.  A great irony.  Who is wise?  The person who holds?  Or the person who buys temporal things?  We are all temporal.  So what do we save for?  So that the following fools might squander?  Or... save?  Again so their heirs might spend?

I cannot answer the question. Though it is clear what decision I have made.  I have Bitcoin enough to ride out my life with no effort.  And yet I go on as if that is not the case.

I suppose my children will decide...  Who is a weak or strong hand?

What is a strong hand anyway? Someone foolish enough, as I have been, to be satisfied with the security that having it gives me?  With no need of buying all that much?

Ehh who knows?

But for all of you... ha... I have a gift planned.  No... I will not give you my bitcoin directly. But a certain amount I will not hand down... consider THAT a gift.  From some ridiculous... somewhat mentally unbalanced... mostly fool, slightly genius, idiot... who has loved many of you for some time.

well my kids are all gone so leaving a shit ton of btc to a niece or a nephew would be my option.

They are not going to get much if any coins from me.

They may get a house and some cash but not much in btc if any at all.

@ jjg I lease primarily because the electronics get a lot better every 3 years.

last car I owned outright was smashed up  July of 2021 I leased until Sept of 2024 I am leasing a new car now.

Yeah my shot at serious money in btc Is over as my accumulation rate is not that fast.

If I had any real belief in it in 2012 I would be rich right now but I merely mined it and made a few bucks rathe the mine it and hodl it.  I do hodl more of what I mine now but I do not mine much coin around 1/3 of a coin a year.
