Too much hype?
ETF but better Good things doesn't come easy. The essence is to shake the confidence of short term investors and accumulate cheaper (institutional investors POV). Besides Bitcoin options around $10B are expiring today.

I gotta say... (Well first shrink your image a bit... damn!) The trolling from Saylor there is magnificent even if he is racing to beat the pants off SBF for "crypto king implosion". I love his fervor... but he worries me. Some folks consider it a death knell to future credibility if a "business man" gets put on the cover of Forbes.. https://x.com/amitisinvesting/status/1885046923482042597?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5EtweetI am not going to proclaim to know the significance beyond the superficiality that Saylor has made it to such status.. News Explorer — SBF's Parents Seek Presidential Pardon From Trump for Disgraced FTX Founder: Report Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, parents of imprisoned crypto fraudster and FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, are reportedly seeking a presidential pardon for their son from Donald Trump. The couple, both Stanford Law School professors, are exploring connections to Trump's inner circle for potential clemency discussions, according to a source familiar with the matter. https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2025/01/31/sam-bankman-fried-s-parents-seek-presidential-pardon-for-their-son-reportI think Sam Backman Fried (SBF) is unforgivable, the crimes he committed will not be pardoned by Donald Trump. Donald Trump alone cannot forgive, SBF has offended people around the world. Imprisonment and stay for a long time would be the appropriate punishment for him. There could be politics involved too since SBF and his parents seemed to be quite biased in a democratic direction... Though Trump seems to be such an attention whore that he could pardon that SBF dweeb merely for the shock value.

It's a good day for Canadians. You can moon any time now Bitcoin! Excellent news. By January 1, 2026 hopefully Poillievre will have killed the capital gains tax increase and maybe even lowered the rate. Perhaps if we're really lucky he'll stop taxing gains on currency exchange. Bitcoin is money, not a commodity like real estate or pork bellies.

Precisely. I was wondering why Democratic Party supporters would appeal to their enemy. Then again Trump seems to love scumbags. The only reason he pardoned Ross Ulbricht was because he had made it an important election campaign promise. Even then he didn't do it immediately. He just did it to save face. Edit: typo

Trump pardoning Ross wasn’t a bad thing and you making it seem that way is disingenuous. Is it so hard to believe that Trump does things because he thinks they are the right thing to do? At least Trump can spell Ulbricht.

I wasn't treating the Ulbricht pardon as a bad thing. I was making the exact opposite point. I don't think his pardon was as much an act of altruism on Trump's part as it was an act of expediency, trying to buy votes in the libertarian/Bitcoin sectors. If SBF and his family had donated to the Republicans instead of the Democrats, he probably would have been pardoned in the first group just like those other scumbags, the Proud Boys.

Damn, you think the J6 people belong in prison for their escorted walk through the Capital too? That is peak TDS. Trump didn’t need any votes when he pardoned Ross. If SBF and his family hadn’t bribed Democrats with donations, FTX wouldn’t have been empowered to run their fraud in the first place...
