Are you using computer to capture the price movement? Because today (this evening) when bitcoin hit $96828, thw move was very fast and if you were not on the monitoring page of the app, you wouldn't get it. But yet you got it. It's like a magic for me because of the way Bitcoin entered that price and jumped back with a second.

So apparently keeping your word is a sliding scale with you?

It kinda has to be to get through life. The ability to recognize hyperbole is handy too. Though if you just want to hate on Trump, that slider is jammed hard over, I guess. Cancer has been cured, of course.

I think he proudly podcasts about his hand capture technique. 24/7, that guy's amazing. Lots of carpal tunnel though.

So far, it looks like 2017-peak early in the year, then decline...in 2017 it was into March 25 (albeit the most rapid decline of about 33.9% was from Jan 4 to Jan 13, then up and down)...about 21.7% for the duration of the whole period, including intraday. Again, there was a quick initial spike down that occurred in less than 10 days.

21.7% from 109K is about 85.3K.

In 2017 (btw, also a first year of T. presidency #1), after that dip/flat we were on to the races for a slightly more than 20X into Dec 17.

I hope this helps, but I am not predicting $1.9 mil  Grin

Weird, to me it looks exactly like 2013. In 2017 we had two premature tops almost ATH level whereas in 2013 it was steady growth and then parabolic moonshot to ATH. I hope similar scenario is going to happen this year. So, next leg to 120-130, then, perhaps another one to 150 eventually, then a final run into 200-250 area. Just my 2c.

naah, man..imho, of course...in 2013 there were two peaks-one in April (going from 12 to 165-250), then a super dip (to 68-75?), then another peak in Nov at 1150-1160.
Nothing that looks like rn.

Compare:
https://calendar.bitbo.io/price/2013/
and
https://calendar.bitbo.io/price/2017/     slide the slider to march 23 or so (it would be less than Jan 4...but, i also used intraday numbers which are not shown on those graphs0

Bullrun will not resume anytime soon all because of a Chinese chatbot and Trump initiated a tariff trade war.

Bearish sentiment kicked in, price could drop much lower.

Perfect reasons to take some cheap coins from paper hands, right? Remember China bans Bitcoin? Worked every time! They react to any stupid news artificially related to King Daddy. Smooth brain problems.  Cool

That would s good. At first I thought he posts all the movement of the bitcoin price but I just saw that the last price of the market today was $96,625. And as you said he podcasts what he capture and the round off time.

"Bitcoin as usual" (c)OOM

The financial market will dip a bit in fear, resume when the dust settles.
I set $92k-$85k limit buys, for now.

I currently "want a word" with ChartBuddy...kind of 'hating' on him, as they say around here, lol.

BTW...DeepSeek says that it is, actually, chatGPT, lol...so much for 'innovation", i suppose.

Are you still monitoring PlanB, or did you completely switch over to the power law model (IIRC)?
Oh I retired from PlanB last cycle, he blocked me on X for calling S2F also Cheesy
You wanna elaborate what you mean for us here that don't follow these flash in the pan astrologers?

I think that there are ways of being fans of PlanB without getting overly wedded to the specifics of his analysis or even some of his price targets can be a bit over the top, so for example in PlanB's latest presentation that OOM linked, PlanB mentioned that he expected a minimum of 3 red dots this cycle which was like 40% price increase for each of those dots, which seems to be a bit outrageous when he is framing it as a kind of guarantee.. even though it surely is not unreasonable .. just the guarantee part (from my perspective).

PlanB seems to understand bitcoin pretty decently, so it seems misplaced for guys to seem to love to be hating on him so much... If we are mad because we believe that he is misleading folks with his over optimism, it seems to me that guys need to take responsibility in regards to how much to rely on future projections, and PlanB has not really been wrong in any way, except for degree.. including some of his earlier lame-ass floor proclamations from 2021.. that ended up not being floors (perhaps ceilings for that time frame).. so yeah, he sometimes goes a bit overboard, but still decent analysis and framework to continue to consider bitcoin in 4-year cycles.... to plot out a lot of ideas that a lot of us already have ---- but PlanB has tended to help put the ideas that many of us already have into more of a digestibly viewable presentations (charts, lines and colored dots and such) and mathematical formulas... oh and if we are saying that there is nothing that we can learn from PlanB's charts, squigglies and his discussions, then we might well be blinded by our own stubbornness.   Tongue Tongue

By the way, a little side note about BTC price go down.  Sometimes I feel a bit of solace in our own BTC price go down circumstances when I see ethereum and other shitcoins going down even more.

I doubt that we can predict the future like that.  With that pic, you seem to be trying to say that Trump's turning his head saved us.. ... that's a pretty BIG eye roll assertion (and you are not the first one who proclaimed such seemingly wishful thinking "trump savior" nonsense).

I'm prepared for downity this time.
Hope u're all too.

My laddering sells started at $100k, so if we go lower ($90k was "max pain" price of expired options), i will buy in again, otherwise my old van will be replaced this year.

Wow.. you seem committed to being a low coiner and/or selling too much too soon.

Also you are selling to buy back  cheaper, which is  a "no, no"

But hey you can do whatever you like, even dumb things... .except you are bragging about it on the WO, which deserves some kind of a bat slappening.. maybe   a baby bat, just for fun?   .. .but yeah, we might not have to worry about batslappening you since the market might help to teach you a little lesson.. perhaps? perhaps?

Another thing is that you should not be selling any BTC unless you mostly already have enough or more than enough, but any sales that you do should be on the way up, not on the way down.. so you need to go back to bitcoin  HODLer 101 school.

All in all, less than 50% of my payout goes into expenses, the reamins, which are less than 60% of the part i decided to sell, will be used in the next bear market to restore my Bitcoin balance.

The mere fact that you are anticipating some future payment so that you can buy more bitcoin should not excuse you from being dumb in regards to selling BTC, expecting  to buy back cheaper, but  really just selling BTC because you think that Larry Fink and Michael Saylor don't happen to have enough cornz.

And another thing... I thought that you were still awaiting a hearing (or a decision or something) in regards to your potential upcoming payout, so in other words, the money is not in the bank, and you don't have any guarantee of any payout until the fat lady sings, am_I_not_rite?

Interesting...points to the end of correction by the end of the month, roughly:

https://old.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/1ifsznu/options_analysis_what_are_eth_options_traders/

Quote
...seems traders do not view this to be a long term issue, with ATM volatility falling already at 21 February, while risk-reversals take abit longer to show a bullish trend, only starting at end March. Meanwhile the butterfly shows stabilization around 28 February. The combined analysis shows that this dip could continue until around end of the month, but the longer term trajectory for the year is still in an uptrend[emphasis mine].
