President Trump's son Eric's father, President Trump, was just inaugurated for a second time.
Almost a miracle, if you think about it.
And now he wants to run with the ball. The North American people are still on his tariff list (although delayed for a month) but Europe is in his sights.

His invasion list has been enlarged to include Gaza along with Greenland and Panama.

Russia, China, and the rest of the world will just have to follow and bow down to The Boss. You're fired!

Oh boy! Just think of it... a glorious new era for America with Emperor Trump as undisputed leader of the world!   Roll Eyes

Canada will soon be a state  Cheesy

Ah you were still reading him weren't you?
I used to be an anti-ignorist too (I kept r0ach on for the whole stretch), but now it's not just the odd couple of nutballs or ranting folks anymore. It's a whole wave of brainless zombies, and I can't manage.

I propose an anti-spam rule whereby anyone can post, but only senior members or heroes and above can receive merit in this thread. Or activity > 1000 or something. Theymos? Theymos??

Canada will soon be a state  Cheesy

  We have a fairly strong national identity, bolstered by our national sport - hockey - so that would be a tough sell.   We'd probably go hard into the corners and maybe even take a few bad penalties without apology before that happens.   Interestingly, Quebeckers pardonnez-moi, Le Québécois are happier than ever with their place in Canada since Trump 2.0... how strange.  I guess la marmotte saw his shadow on Jan. 20, 2025 and and Canadian patriotism has surged 13 points in the polls.  Now, almost 60% of Canadians consider themselves either "proud" or "very proud" to be 🍁... I don't remember being asked but then I never answer the phone unless I know the number.

Meanwhile, I've been reading news about bitcoin, and the amount of crapto shilling is annoying. It's hard to find an article that doesn't feel the need to sneak ethereum or solana or whatever the choice piece of crap after a cursory "bitcoin could go up or down" remark.

I took the liberty of translating an excerpt from a piece of news by a simple find and replace operation.

bitcoin -> bitcoin (unchanged)
altcoin -> shitcoin
ethereum -> bigger shitcoin OR biggest shitcoin (depending on context)
solana -> new popular shitcoin OR recent starlet shitcoin OR similar
crypto -> bitcoin and shitcoin

Here's the result. Ironically, the outlet is named "Newsbtc".

Beyond Bitcoin: Shitcoins In The Spotlight

Although Bitcoin takes front stage, Barhydt’s crystal ball still remembers shitcoins. While a new star shitcoin can possibly soar to $900, a larger shitcoin sees hitting $8,000. These projections exceed even other optimistic expectations, including VanEck’s $520 target for the new popular shitcoin, and they well outweigh present values.

With a forecasted increase to $25 based mostly on its connection with Bitcoin’s movements, a less well-known minor shitcoin has not gone unnoticed either.

The ETF Effect: A New Chapter Or False Dawn

Indeed, fresh optimism is brought by the recent approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the market. For instance, the month of February saw a flow of $755 million into Bitcoin ETFs when the US CPI data was released. This illustrates the ever-increasing appetite of institutions to get exposure to bitcoin and shitcoins. Yet this mere snapshot of success cannot be read in isolation. These inflows are not sustainable, while past performance does not guarantee future results.

Reading Between The Lines: What’s Missing

Despite the appealing narrative, several crucial factors deserve closer scrutiny. The analysis largely ignores potential headwinds such as regulatory challenges, technological risks, and market manipulation concerns. Barhydt’s confidence in a “brass balls” approach to investing might resonate with bitcoin and shitcoin enthusiasts, but it glosses over the sophisticated risk management strategies that institutional investors typically employ.

The way the bitcoin and shitcoins market interacts with conventional economic data is not set in stone. Although historically simpler monetary policy corresponds with asset price inflation, the maturing of the bitcoin and shitcoin market could produce different results this time. It is probable that astute investors will adopt a balanced approach to these predictions, recognizing both the substantial risks and the potential opportunities that await them.

if you give a neg trust and a red flag they will stop.

he had over a dozen x quotes
he has a new email
he has a new password

I do not want to play cop on this thread 🧵

If we find four or five more like him and they are here and we do the neg trust and red flag it will end.

I got annoyed as two or three posts earlier I said I might do a neg trust and he did another x quotes.

which could mean poor judgement calling me to see if I bluffed

but it could mean he is ai controlled and did not pick up on my post .

so I looked and saw he has lots of x quotes here and tagged him.

China, Russia and Europe will be states long before Canada bows down.

You are welcome to the thread. Just don't make every post an x quote without substance.

I will consider removing the neg trust on Monday or Tuesday of this week. I need time to read all of your posts you made.

Yeah here is how I look at it.

Canada = too hard to take over

Mexico = harder to take over.

but

Greenland = pretty easy

Just the Panama Canal = pretty easy .

So my gut is he says Canada
and he says Mexico

but he wants Greenland and the canal

the canal could be argued the treaty Jimmy Carter did voiding the original treaty was not legal and it still belongs to the USA under the terms of the 1899 -1910 treaty arrangements. (can't remember the actual date of the first agreement but it was stated to be in perpetuity which means for the rest of the existence of the canal.

Greenland has real value if the world is going to melt the ice.

and Russia can not be stopped from melting the ice

so owning Greenland vs a weak non nuclear country like Denmark is a big priority.

The USA could over pay for it.

So maybe Greenland becomes the 51st state and not Canada .  After all Greenland only has around 56000 people on it. Canada has millions as does Mexico.

So I think Trump or like I say the musky trumpeter wants Greenland and Panama Canal

We will see how this unfolds.

Hoping we the USA are not stupid enough to directly bother with Canada and Mexico
