I stopped respecting that loser when S2F died a miserable death 4 years ago. The fact he still argues his models are valid is hilarious. This is another string to his loser bow. IIRC I and JJG were the only two not extolling his virtues, I personally pointed out he did not account for DERIVATIVES which was his downfall and I forget what JJG's beef was but it was probably that the guy didn't cost average! |

I too find he planb news disappointing. But there is one potential wrinkle in my opinion.
I believe he's been in Bitcoin for quite some time, so he probably bought in at a fairly good price. And if he was loaded before, he might have put a lot into it. And if that's the case, he may be self-custidying amounts that he's just not comfortable holding on to. And he wants to move it into professional custody that has the best chance of not being a rug pull.
I don't talk on Twitter much at all anymore, but I did comment on his tweet saying I thought he ought to at least self custody some part of his stack just to spread the risk around a little bit.
