With 24% capital gains it’s too much of a risk. I sold enough Bitcoin for six years of life expenses. In hindsight I should have sold more over 120k but I thought we would hit at least 150k this year.
Love to be wrong but this looks like frustrated OG’s and four year cycle believers dumping due to lack of bullish price action. It’s causing severe selling pressure. I think the bull run is over.
Clearly I hope it’s not as I become significantly wealthier with uppity price action. I just say what I see though without bias.
With diminishing returns we are witnessing now (Bitcoin went up less than x2 this cycle about x1.8 to be precise), perhaps there is no reason to wait six years to sell? Just to remind, previous cycles' gains were as follows: 2013-2017 x17 (1115 to 19700), 2017-2021 x3.5 (19700 to 69000). So, if we're lucky we could expect Bitcoin to reach $176400 (40% growth if compared to 80% growth this cycle) in 4 years. This is an optimistic scenario, realistic could be something like $150k or pathetic 129k EUR. Taking into account inflation etc. $150k in 2029 will probably buy you less than $120k or even $100k today. The times of parabolic pumps are over. Amen. Ok, maybe these conclusions, albeit possible, seem premature, especially the talk about what would be in 4 years. Want to be gloomy...go ahead. I will simply repeat my thesis that bitcoin at $2 tril makes no sense: it either has to grow to be at least like gold or more or whither and then something else will take its place. I give 85% chance for bitcoin to be the one and 15% to 'something else', but surely NOT VB token.

Just admit you sold some, stop being a drama queen. The giant position is now 5% underwater.
It is not up all the time?? Panic!! Of course I sold some. I came in here and told everyone they would regret not selling at $117K as well… I still have more than 2/3s of my net worth in Bitcoin, so I’ll be looking for a last ditch effort pump to lower that % even more. People only panic when they don’t know what’s going on. I’ve been waiting for this for years, so I’m celebrating. Sadly in some ways but very true... I also did sold a few, still remain strong %-wise in BTC. But for years at 400-1000-... 6000-.. 10000-etc we were hoping for 70k-100k-120k... So even when we are dipping its still a celebrating moment for those long term hodlers who have been taking some profits to remain lifestyles etc But still I do love the market more when everybody can be euphoric.

Good recommendation, JimboToronto! That was one of the tastiest steaks I've eaten. So buttery and easily as tender as any filet mignon I've ever had. When Bitcoin gets to US$150k, I will have another Next time I will ask for medium-rare though - my wife tasted some so I had it done to her preference. Yum. I'll admit it though, it does look a little overcooked. I have a similar problem with my wife. She thinks anything pinker than medium well-done is "still raw". I've tried to explain to her that meat juices are not blood but she was raised in Mexico where the local beef is pretty dreadful and pretty much has to be braised to be edible. Rare beef is not an option. When I cook flatirons, I'll start hers on the hot cast iron, then start mine when I turn hers. I'll flip mine when it gets a nice color on the bottom and then when it reaches a perfect extra-rare inside I'll flip hers again and put mine on top of hers and turn down the heat. By the time hers is ready, mine will be done to a full rare but benefited from resting to the point that it retains its juices when cut into.

By the time hers is ready, mine will be done to a full rare but benefited from resting to the point that it retains its juices when cut into. My "trick" was to flip em over as soon as they no more stick to the hot stainless steel pan's surface. The "adjustment" procedure was putting them in the oven at medium temps, and if somebody wanted rare steak, i left it in there for longer. EDIT: The meat on the photo looks like it's very similar to what i personally liked the best. My oldest son would pass on this, too. He prefers the juice (and the chew). OT: I decided to pass another day on the Muscimol, and there is that abstraction layer between my inner self and the environment again, among other neurodiverse traits. The thing is, i started to grasp how much they interfere with a successful life, no matter how used i got to them. I feel a little of a conflict arising inside me, making me overthink my decision to pass on my dose today every few minutes. Not that overthinking something every few minutes would be new to me, but this time it's about a life changing experience, but the particular "better me" is still not the "real me" -introspection adds some dramatic momentum. Like questioning: Do you want to be the troubled but real you, or do you want to be the (chemically) optimised unreal you? At least, the brain seems to "learn" from that experiences of the past days, unlike with stimulants, which leave you as the same awkward person that you were before, and this makes it easier to stay on the "real me" route, at least at the moment. EDIT2: I actually forgot that i had a dose of 140mg Theanin and 120mg caffeine, which is also not the real real-me, but the light version of it. Still a big difference. Muscimol does about what this combination does, only 5 times better and without habituation effects (backed by science).
