I want to buy this burger with Bitcoin at 2035. I don't want to be a second Laszlo by buying it now . X Everyone assumes Laszlo regrets the pizzas... He wrote the first GPU miner I think. I would bet he has more money still than most could fathom. Well he was in at a time that having 100k coins was a possibility. He may be down to 30 or 40k coins which is good enough.

Sometimes I wish I could give negative merit to people, and after a certain number of negative merit, they are no longer able to post in this thread.
Ignore just isn't effective enough.
No sir. Not getting rid of me that easily. @cAPSLOCK - I thought maybe he was referring to you. I knew it couldn't possibly be me...

Closing the week above $103,000 is great! It will reach even higher levels in the coming days, maintaining the overall upward trend.

Imagine for a second that the guy who recently sold 10000 btc for a cool $1.03 bil was the same ol' Laszlo: First 10000 btc for 0.1c/btc and one of the last 10000 btc for 0.1 mil/btc [he sold a few lots after the first one]. That's a 10^8 fold difference...I can easily see a movie scenario for something like this. Fat chance, I know

OT: The dawn of the new era or a fallacy? https://www.technologyreview.com/2025/10/31/1127461/heres-the-latest-company-planning-for-gene-edited-babies/https://www.preventive.bio/blog/announcing-preventiveIn the last link, they are talking about a public benefit corporation (PBC). Hmmm...where did I hear it before? Of course, from some unnamed AI company that is about to officially become for profit and a "closed source" (well, correction, they are already closed source). Current laws expressly prohibit tinkering with the germ line (genetic editing of the inherited traits), but as we know, it all depends on the perceived needs of the many...or a few? I can think about correction on a few traits present in a significant % of the population that is worth doing with the number or less than fingers on ours hands, initially. Heart disease and Alzheimer's are certainly not qualified, apart of, maybe, in some rare cases of early Alzheimer's and maybe familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). The danger is in that while increasing such tinkering, H. sapiens will split into separate species...well, of course, Eloi and Morlocks, as predicted by H. G Wells.

Not even gene editing could fix the bearishness of some OGs here.

I could have went for 1000 coins some people on this thread did that and they may have 500 coins and millions in cash as I type. He certainly could have had as much as 100,000 coins. My understanding of how good btc was in 2012 did not exist. I did get it by dec 2017. But he was so far ahead of the curve compared to me he likely was the guy that just sold m those 10,000 coins. I AM certain he has more than the 10,000 he just sold.
