Pretty good strategy for taking over Europe though... get all the troops to Greenland under the NATO pretense and then take over Europe instead. That way you get two for the price of one and now you have an already NATO-fortified Greenland to prevent Russian and Chinese incursions.

$95k is the new $87k until the next run up? I'll take it. good insight good insight maybe, but bad foresight. I didn't expect that we would be back to the tariff FUD. But the effect is mild compared to what we experienced with the same FUD last year, and only temporary. Tariffs or no tarrifs, Bitcoin is going up eventually and with or without Greenland the future of the EU is not so bright without the US. I think the Dude was being funny... [...] Man, why am I filled with an urge to see what perverted images your AI evil-fairy-generating machines will produce this time?

Or it will be a war with Europe. I don't know. Does that seem like THAT is really gonna happen to anybody?
like, what definition of war should we use? And extremely good point that you and Buzz are making. And I don't know what your definition is, but as far as I'm concerned, we've been at war since sometime in the vicinity of 1917. perhaps even the turn of the century. And it's never stopped. And the money is probably the most important weapon in that war. I didn't know the fourth turning was going to be this fun. I suppose I need to read that book.

Oh. I'm not sure the sparkle fairy should be meeting the ETF meerkat... That could cause a tear in some universal fabric.
Talking about inter-universal holy things. I remember a clip from one of my favourite comedian(s) - Pete Holmes. https://youtu.be/-G4Y8JtT1j0?si=CCK8-q3u_JcFL03J&t=200This whole ETF thing going on here for some time reminds me of Microsoft Tech Support (IN) Team. who thinks making alt account and/or posting AI content is the real deal. I hope someone from forum staff can make a post for newbies pointing out the 'ignore' button and pretentious jagoffs who pose like satoshi is their homeboy. ...or, not, because on further contemplation, I realized that nobody gives a fuck about poseurs, yes? On a serious note, however,https://icarus-cards.eu/This looks like a really promising thing to own. Real cool stuff remains hidden boys and girls. Through the valleys you must walk to find them...or use the search button (slowly).

But look what you've done, you fool. Not only have they met, but the sparkle fairy is already describing her plan for world domination using the most immutable, permissionless, distributed network of Bitcoin. But the problem is, she hasn't found out yet that the meerkat is actually only a holder of a Bitcoin derivative and he's too stupid to understand her plans. When she finds out that he's a paper corner, she's liable to be pretty furious. I've never seen her mad. I don't know what that would look like. But she does have freaky teeth. I would be worried if I was the ETF meerkat.

Also, come to think of it doesn't Stephen Livera kind of look like a meerkat?
I know, I know I'm going to hell. Half of you are sending me there. Have a nice day. 😁. But I'm still mad at him for calling half of his audience retards over and over again. Not that I ever really liked to show in the first place, milk toast shit.

Considering everything what is going on and after watching some parts of the the Moonshots podcast interview of Elon Musk ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSNuB9pj9P8), I decided to reduce my retirement contributions at first...not to zero, but to half of what I planned for the year. The podcast suggests that the money function would drastically change and soon with an intermediary highly deflationary period. I am mostly in alignment with those thoughts. It is clear that the current financial system would not be able to continue beyond 3-5 years maximum and this is being generous. Acting like a little squirrel might not be the right tactic as far as fiat assets are concerned starting maybe a year or two ago (I am late). Bitcoin might be different, hopefully, so I would continue to hold it. As far as retirement accounts are concerned, I will set up a fast decumulation schedule, based on VPW tactic (variable percentage withdrawal; see Bogleheads wiki), but starting with 5.3%/year initially (fitting my age). 2026 would be a transitional year, but in 2027 (if the world is intact, hopefully), I would hit the pedal (in spending), while reducing the workload by about 15%-40%. After one year or a couple of years of that, we shall see. I had been working one way or another since I was 16 (albeit with a long study period after 17), so it is really difficult to stop doing something that I consider productive, but all things come to the end, perhaps.

If Russia is a threat to Greenland taking it over why Trump invite Putin to his new peace council that cost $1 billion every 3 years with Trump as suprematie leader..? .....Orange man even demand a special ceremony in Davos this week... I have a suspicion from all this bullcrap is a distraction to avoid the Epstein debacle accountability.

Yep! And chances we all would get along great and enjoy one another's company and have a lot of fun together while respecting each other's deep-seeded seated (sown, grow, rooted)opinions.
---------------------------------------------------- Buddy, I think it was on January 4th that you changed your avatar, because it seems like I remember the price going 91 and you held that coin.. So around those days where BTC went above 91, then lost and then rebounded and kept doing these weekly bullish pivots... but with low volume, and in this last week, until the 18th, it was closing in purchase in the volume of the weekly, ...And then, after you changed your avatar, they made an improved image, with some modifications, but the important part of this modification was that in the original, you were taking the coin, and in the modified version, you are holding it. ... Buddy is back
He is, and possibly the worst thing that could have happened may have happened. He's teamed up with the sparkle fairy. But my understanding is she's very bullish. So maybe it will be a good pairing. img width=200]https://shelf.mooose.art/cpg/albums/userpics/1640.png[/img These changes made, in the cheekbone, put mustache and beard and improvements in the nose, was it your idea, and or did she make these modifications on her own?

It would all come to some sort of negotiation. Greenland could become a protectorate of sorts, run by both EU and US or, maybe EU, Denmark and US (three-way). It is an aggressive move, of course, but with ice melting in the future, perhaps it was an inevitability.
Regarding the "stability of the borders"-there is no such thing from the historical perspective. Borders are changing all the time-the last one was the disappearance of East Germany-West Germany border, which was the right "thing" of course. Before that-new, "permanent" state borders in the former Yugoslavia and former USSR Before that-large border changes after the WWII.

I had been working one way or another since I was 16 (albeit with a long study period after 17), so it is really difficult to stop doing something that I consider productive, but all things come to the end, perhaps. I don't feel like watching a whole podcast, yet your plans of transitioning from working into not working seems interesting.. even though you are likely working from numbers of various systems .. so then you will continue to receive income (perhaps fixed income), or maybe your fixed income sources might not start and you have to rely on your self-directed resources. Self-directed sources of income have differing withdrawal rate capacities, and we talked about this before, yet surely you could withdraw at a flat rate across all of them.. depending on formulas that you might have.. such as selling a certain percent of shares or a certain percent of dollar value .. perhaps monthly, quarterly, annual or some other frequency... And there may well even be choices to mostly reallocate out of one asset and into other assets. Usually the starting rate would be lower to test it out and see how it works, even though a lot of people make mistakes in regards to withdrawing too much at earlier times, so then the funds deplete faster than anticipated. The other issue is withdrawing slower from some than others, and there are possibilities that some will grown faster than others - especially if the timeline for withdrawal (or increasing or changing withdrawal) might be 4-10 years into the future or longer. There are some funds that guys might purposefully delay in withdrawing.. Of course, if you are reducing your workload, then that may result in reduction in pay which might justify reducing contributions into funds, even though some of the funds might be tax deferred so there are benefits in continuing to contribute or even to max out the tax-deferred benefits. A good thing is having options, even though sometimes changes in practices can contribute to accounting complications when changing from one system to another system and then having various kinds of funds.

I would be embarrassed to be an American right now.
I am not embarrassed, but from the inside viewpoint of being one I am trapped more than anything else. All the income of pensions and ssa are federal for my wife and I. While they are pretty good they are an example of 'not your keys not your coins' They add up to over 90k a year but even though they are guaranteed if I act up and get jailed protesting they go poof. because them's the law. And the feds got a lot more guns than I will ever have.

My pension system says that you would not get pension ONLY if a crime was related to the official position (like embezzlement on a job). Soc security-payment stops after 30 day incarceration, but automatically restarts after coming out.
